The Friends Sock Hop is set for Sept. 14 and will be held at Riordan Hall in Bella Vista from 7 to 9:30 p.m.
Tickets go on sale starting Aug. 15 at the Bella Vista Library for $10 per person. Tickets include free popcorn and a root beer float. Tickets at the door on the night of the event will be $12 per person.
There will be a cash bar available, and Bella Vista's Rockin' Roads Band will provide the classic music of the '50s.
Not required, but dressing 1950's style makes this a Coolsville bash.
All proceeds go to the Friends of the Library Foundation which continues to raise funds for the Library's expansion project.
