Forest Hills Church

Bella Vista Community Church

Bella Vista Men for Christ hosts Bentonville Mayor Bob McCaslin at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 21, in the chapel. The mayor will be speaking on his Christian walk of faith in politics and business. Men and women are invited. Please call the church office to sign up.

The Bella Vista National Day of Prayer Breakfast hosted by Bella Vista Community Church is at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 5, with special guests Mayor Peter Christie and NICA Coach Ben Rowell. After the prayer breakfast, join us in cleaning up the trails around the BVCC trailhead. RSVP required. Please call 479-855-1126 or sign up at bvcc.net. Space is limited to the first 200 people. Suggested donation is $5 at the door.

United Lutheran Church

ULC Movie Night (featuring "Same Kind of Different as Me") will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, April 19. The public is welcome to this monthly event filled with popcorn and fellowship.

Art n' Luther is back by popular demand! This is a fun, faith-filled painting experience to paint on canvas and take home the creation. This event is open to the public, however, seating is limited (with only 30 spots available). Call the United Lutheran Church office to RSVP your seat at 479-855-1325. The cost is $10 for one and only $5 more for a friend. All art supplies will be provided. Art n' Luther is an event that happens at least twice a year.

Presbyterian Church of Bella Vista

The "Care and Share" of Gravette trailer will be in the church parking lot until noon Thursday, April 19, for any last-minute donations.

All are welcome to the next Women's Book Club meeting at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 26, in the church parlor. This book club is unique in that each participant chooses a book around a theme rather than reading the same book. This month's theme is a book with the letter A in the title.

The Chancel Choir is in need of a piano accompanist. Call the church, 479-855-2390, for more details.

Highlands Church Highlands Flea

Highlands Church, a United Methodist Congregation, Highlands Flea will be from 8 a.m to noon Saturday, May 5. This annual event is held at Highlands Church and hosted by the United Methodist Women. All proceeds are donated to local women's and children's charities. Items for sale will include household, linens, collectables, jewelry, furniture, books, lawn and garden, coffee shoppe and bakery. If you wish to sell your own items for profit, make a reservation for an outside space by calling 855-2277.

Bella Vista Lutheran Church

The Fellowship Team of Bella Vista Lutheran Church is sponsoring a donation drive for the NWA Women's Shelter April and May. A box is provided in the church narthex for donations of shelf-stable healthy drinks and snacks such as seeds, nuts, dried fruit, low-sugar trail mix, air-popped popcorn, low-sodium jerky, juice, juice boxes, crackers, nut butter.

The Shepherd's Food Pantry is open every Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The pantry is requesting peanut butter at this time. A container for donations is in the church narthex.

Bella Vista Church of Christ

The Bella Vista Church of Christ is hosting a Community Family Fun Day from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 5, at the Bella Vista Church of Christ, located at 989 NW McNelly Rd. in Bentonville. Activities for the whole family include a cake walk, face painting, bounce houses, games and carriage rides.

Village Bible Church

Pastor Mark Voll will continue his "The Gospel of Mark!" sermon series. This Sunday's sermon is titled "Clarifying the Cleansing" with a text of Mark 11:15-19.

The community is invited to The Ladies' Annual Spring Luncheon to be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 12. This year's theme is "A Living Portrait of George and Martha Washington." Tickets are required, $3, and may be purchased at the church in the foyer any Sunday between April 2 and May 6. For more information, call Paula at 479-876-1822.

Unitarian Universalists

Continuing April's theme of Miracles, April 15, features a talk written by Unitarian Universalist minister Laurie Bushbaum entitled, "Ordinary Miracles."

First United Methodist Church

First United Methodist Men are hosting a Pancake Day from 6:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday, May 4, in Becker Hall at the church, 20 Boyce Dr, Bella Vista. Tickets are $6 per person and include pancakes, ham or sausage, applesauce, coffee and milk. Tickets can be bought from any UMM member, at the Church office or at the door.

St. Bernard Catholic Church

BINGO will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 19, in the parish hall. Doors open at 5:45 p.m.

Perfect Harmony Women's Barbershop Chorus will be performing for the St. Bernard's Women's Club in Bella Vista at 9:30 a.m. Friday, May 11. The public is welcome to attend.

Highland Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)

Highland Christian Church is hosting a two-hour James Garrett "Tribute to John Denver" concert at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 22. Advance ticket sales only. Tickets may be purchased at Bella Vista Library and Village House Adult Program. All ticket proceeds go to the support of these great organizations. Seating is limited.

Village Baptist Church

A free seminar concerning parenting adult children will be presented at Village Baptist Church from 9:30 a.m. to noon Wednesday, May 9. The seminar is open to the public.
