POA Executive Salaries

After reading about the POA executive salaries reported in the November 29 Vista, I now understand why the POA continues to push for assessment increases. How else can we continue to maintain our "executive/elite" pay status for the POA? Yet the POA is an organization existing within the city of Bella Vista where our mayor makes less than half of what the POA general manager makes. While the mayor's duties include police and fire departments, street maintenance, sanitation and a great deal more, the POA's primary function is to collect assessments to maintain our amenities. We've been residents here for 23 years and can remember when the POA refused to divulge executive salaries for many years -- now I can see why. I hope we can keep all this in mind when the POA makes another pitch for increased assessments.
