Friends of the Library Yard Sale
The Bella Vista Friends of the Library will be holding a yard sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, June 2. As you clean out closets and drawers this spring, consider donating your castaways to the Friends. Donations can be dropped off at the library during business hours up to May 31.

Encore Books will be having a half price book sale April 24-29. Everything is 50 percent off.
Legomania
Let's get creative. The first Saturday of the month is Legomania. Come build whatever you want at the library. We'll provide the Legos, you just bring your creativity at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 6.
Blossoms and Bows
Come make something special for Mom. Join us from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 13, and decorate a flower pot with your own unique artwork and plant a beautiful flower to give to mom this Mother's Day.
Silly Songs and Stories
Silly Songs and Stories is at 10 a.m. every Friday morning. Bring your preschoolers and join this fun group for stories and crafts.
Knittersand Crocheters
Knitters and crocheters are invited to brush up on their skills and learn some new techniques from 1 to 3 p.m. every Tuesday. Beginners will be guided by experienced knitters and crocheters. Bring your current projects or start a new one. Please provide your own supplies.
Check out a Kindle
Kindle Paperwhites and Kindle Fires are available for checkout to patrons in good standing. Each device is loaded with several books and may be checked out for three weeks. New books are added to each device every month. See library staff for the check-out agreement and procedure.
Encore Books
The Friends of the Library's used-book store is open six days a week during regular library hours. Everyday low pricing on hardbacks, DVDs, puzzles, children's books, paperbacks, biographies, health and wellness topics, and much, much more. All proceeds of this ongoing fundraiser support the library. New books are added almost daily.
Bella Vista Library is on Facebook. Click on the Facebook icon on our website, www.bvpl.org, and "Like" us today. It's a great way to keep up with all the events at the library.
Rocket Languages
We offer Rocket Languages through our website. This language learning service offers online courses for 15 different languages. All you need is a library card to access it.
Freegal Music
The library has Freegal Music. This service, available through our website, allows our patrons to listen to and download music for free. Using your library card you can access this service.
Exhibits
April's displays are provided by Carlene Beam and the Bella Vista Photography Club. Anyone interested in displaying a collection should contact Rebecca at 479-855-1753.
Floral Arrangement
April's floral arrangement was designed and provided by Mary O'Brien of the Bella Vista Garden Club. Each month, a member of the Bella Vista Garden Club creates an original floral design to be displayed for patron enjoyment.

Hours of Operation
Regular library hours are 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, with weekend hours of 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. The Bella Vista Public Library is located just east of Town Center off Lancashire Blvd. (Ark. Hwy. 340 East, turn at the Bella Vista Baptist Church) at 11 Dickens Place.
