Lake Windsor Parade of Boats is July 2

The residents of Lake Windsor had so much fun during their parade of boats last year, they're doing it again this year.

The second annual Parade of Boats takes place Saturday, July 2, beginning at 6 p.m. Just like last year, the theme for the parade will be "All American." An All-American theme offers boat parade participants an open creative slate for decorating their boats. Ideas are endless -- think red, white and blue, baseball, your home/favorite state, athletic team (local or national), favorite U.S. landmark, etc.

Registration is free. Participating boat owners must possess a current Bella Vista Property Owners Association boat registration permit. Boats of all types are welcome to join the parade. Boats must be registered with the organizing committee. Sponsorship opportunities are available. To sponsor a prize or prizes for this year's participants, contact the committee at the email address listed below.

To volunteer to help the organizing committee, or represent a local civic group, church, business or nonprofit, please contact organizers.

If you're a boat owner and would like to participate by sponsoring a local civic, church, business or nonprofit organization, you may do so by allowing your chosen organization to decorate your boat. Boat owners whose boats are sponsored must approve the boat's decorations and captain the boat during the parade.
