P.E.O. hosting afternoon of games

P.E.O. Chapter CD of Bella Vista invites anyone who enjoys an afternoon of games to join them from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30. The chapter will host the games at Highland Church, 371 Glasgow Rd., Bella Vista.

The purpose of the event is to raise funds for scholarships for women. The chapter has been able to sponsor 11 local women and three international women in their quest for educational degrees.

Participants are welcome to play the game of their choice: bridge, canasta, dominoes or Mah Jongg. The cost is $60 a table or $15 per person. This includes a lunch with a variety of delicious foods.

The captain of each table should decide on the rules and procedures to be followed and bring whatever items are needed for the game. Registration forms are available at City Hall, 101 Town Center.
