United Lutheran Church

United in Prayer meets at 3 p.m. each Monday. All are welcome.

For those whose Circle is not meeting at the the usual time in June, feel free to attend another Circle meeting.

June 5 from 8 a.m. to noon United Lutheran Youth will be holding a parking lot sale to raise money for Claire Redlaczyk and Dylan Rendon to attend ELCA Youth Gathering in Detroit this summer. All are welcome to browse and buy.

The Breakfast Club meeting for Monday, June 8, has been canceled.

Bella Vista Lutheran Church

Parent's Night Out will be held beginning at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, starting with a kid-friendly meal. There will be crafts, games, Bible stories and more. This change of date is due to construction issues. All children are welcome.

The Shepherd's Food Pantry is open every Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Donations will be very important during summer months when school is out and families are in need of extra donations. A shopping cart for donations is in the fellowship hall entry and a container is also in the church narthex.

The "Inquirers Class" led by the Rev. Hass is held every Sunday at 9:45 a.m. for those interested in the beliefs of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.

Sunday morning worship begins at 8:30 a.m. with a traditional service and a blended service takes place at 10:45 a.m. Sunday school and adult Bible classes are at 9:45 a.m.

Vacation Bible school will be from 5:30 to 8 p.m. June 8 through 11. All children are welcome.

The Prayer Shawl Makers have received a request from the Circle of Life at Legacy Village that they are in need of 50 prayer shawls. Anyone that would like to knit or crochet a prayer shawl contact Elaine Schurman at 479-531-3395. It is requested that prayer shawls be washed before donating to remove the sizing.

Unitarian Universalists of Benton County

The Unitarian Universalists of Benton County is located at 1110 SE Evergreen St., Little Einstein Montessori School, in Bentonville near the southeast corner of 14th and J Streets. The Sunday service begins at 11 a.m. and is preceded by coffee and social time beginning at 10:30 a.m.

The Presbyterian Church of Bella Vista

The Book Club meets in the parlor on Thursday, May 28, at 10 a.m. All are welcome.

A traditional worship service will be held at 10 a.m. Trinity Sunday, May 31. Holy Communion will be served. Visitors are welcome. Adult and children's Sunday school both meet at 8:30 a.m.

The Presbyterian Church of Bella Vista will be celebrating its 30th anniversary Sunday, June 14, with a church dinner in fellowship hall following services. Sign up at the information center to attend. Reservations are needed by June 1.

Vacation Bible School will be held from June 22 through June 25, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. each day. Call the church office to register children, visiting grandchildren or invite neighborhood children.

Men's prayer and Bible study from 1st John takes place each Friday morning from 8 to 10 a.m.

The Rev. Bill Bowen will bring the message at 10:15 a.m. Sunday, May 31. There will not be an evening service.

A church sponsored Block Party will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 6, on the church parking lot.

Join the SOS Youth for an Ice Cream Social Fundraiser following the service in fellowship hall June 6 and 7. A free will offering will greatly be accepted. Proceeds will help offset costs associated with special youth activities.

A new four-week bible study will be held from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 9. The study will be on the book, "Before Amen: The Power of a Simple Prayer," by Max Lucado.

Highland Christian Church

The final choir practice of the season will be held Wednesday at 4 p.m. at Highland Christian Church. After practice there will be a party for the choir in fellowship hall.

On May 31, Sunday school will be offered at 9:30 a.m. followed by worship with open communion at 10:30 a.m. The Rev. Paul Seal will be speaking on "How Will We Lead the Church Tomorrow?" from I Peter 1: 3-5; 2: 1-5.

Andante Music Club will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, in the sanctuary with performers from Opera in the Ozarks. Refreshments will be served following the performance. The community is invited.

Unity Church of the Ozarks

Qui Gong class, led by Rick Blough, will meet every Saturday in the sanctuary followed with a healing session. Love offering will be accepted.

Wednesday Night Class and Meditation is held each Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the church. The subject for May is ways and means of cleaning the mind, opening the heart and nurturing the souls. These classes are based from a metaphysical point of view. A quiet meditation follows the class. The community is invited.

Book study continues "Discover the Power Within You" by Eric Butterworth each Sunday at 9 a.m. This class holds meaningful discussions of ideas from this book with the Unity teachings presented in a thought provoking way. All are welcome.

The Rev. Edie Skalitzky will speak on "Stopping, Looking and Listening" Sunday, May 31. Following the service the monthly potluck will take place. Bring a dish and enjoy the companionship during a tasty meal.

The annual 5 X 5's sale, created by church attendees, accompanied by an ice cream social will take place Saturday, June 13, from 3 to 5 p.m.

Threads of Love gathers at 9:30 a.m. the second and fourth Wednesday of each month in room 143B.

The Senior Adult Ministries hosts Ice Cream and a Movie the fourth Friday of the month at 6 p.m. All adults are welcome.

Village Bible Evangelical Free Church

The Oasis Food Pantry will be open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 27. This ministry is available to anyone in the area who needs help with groceries and would appreciate the compassion and encouragement of church volunteers.

A potluck fellowship dinner will begin at 5:30 p.m. The family praise and prayer fellowship plus children's and youth activities will begin at 6:20 p.m. Choir rehearsal starts at 7:30 p.m. followed by Worship team practice at 8 p.m.

Bible study in the book of Romans meets at the church at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 28. The community is invited.

Sunday school classes are offered for all ages at 9 a.m. At the 10 a.m. worship service the Rev. Mark Voll will continue his sermon series titled "It Was the Best & Worst of Times." This week's focus is "Somebody's Watching You" with a text of 1 Peter 2:11-25.

A men's Bible study on Jeremiah meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday. A ladies' KniTTogether ministry and the White Cross Women's Mission ministry also meet at 7 p.m.

Bella Vista Christian Church

Student Ministry families with sixth through twelfth graders will have a worship night in the new student center at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 27. The café will open for pizza at 5 p.m. All teens and their families are welcome.

Bella Vista Christian Church offers two Sunday morning worship services at 9 and 10:45 a.m. "In Chains" is the title of the current sermon series. KidTown for children birth through grade 5 is held during both services. Student Ministry Engage Study for grades 6 through 12 meets at 6 p.m. Sunday evenings.

Engage Worship for students grades 6 through 12 will hold their worship service on Wednesday from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Registration is now being taken for vacation Bible school. "Summer Experience" will be held Sunday through Thursday, June 7-11, from to 8:30 p.m. All children three-years-old (potty trained) through completed 5th grade are invited. The Missions Ministry is preparing for the 5th Annual Rods for Rapha Car Show to be held from 5 to 8:30 p.m. June 20 on Allen's Foods parking lot. Vehicle registrations are now being accepted on the church website. All proceeds go toward Rapha House, a mission that exists to love, rescue and heal children who have been rescued from trafficking and sexual exploitation.
