Armed Forces Day will be celebrated with a free concert at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 16, at Riordan Hall in Bella Vista.
The public is invited to come and pay tribute to the men and women who have served and are serving in the United States military.
Arkansas State American Legion Commander Jacob Greeling of Bella Vista will pay tribute to the veterans.
The 17-piece JM Band of Northwest Arkansas under the direction of Ron Thurston will play patriotic and other popular music.
The show is the only public event of the year sponsored by the Veterans Council of Northwest Arkansas.
The Bella Vista Village POA also is sponsoring the event. Donations to the Veterans Council are always welcome and may be mailed to P.O. Box 3085, Bella Vista, AR 72715.
