Team building and golf fundraising luncheon set

If you're interested in learning more about team building or hosting a golf fundraiser, you're encouraged to attend a special luncheon and seminar at 11 a.m. Feb. 13 at Café Amici, inside the Bella Vista Country Club.

The luncheon and seminar is open to anyone who would like to attend; however, it will be of special interest to human resource managers involved with non-profit and for-profit organizations.

Participants will enjoy a traditional Italian meal prepared by Café Amici and gain valuable knowledge in relation to team building with successful strategies for hosting golf fundraisers.

Luncheon organizer Sylvia Camacho-Green said the seminar is the first of its kind and will spark interest for others.

"We have great venues in Bella Vista to use as backdrops for golf fundraisers and team building," she said. "Our speakers will share their knowledge and give valuable advice on how to get started."

The speakers for the seminar are executive-level professionals with a broad knowledge in corporate strategy, marketing, team building, event planning, fundraising, professional development, leadership and golf.

Tammy Thurow, the Bentonville-Bella Vista Chamber of Commerce marketing vice president, is expected to address organizing golf fundraisers. Her presentation is geared to businesses of any size -- for-profit or non-profit -- that would consider hosting a golf fundraiser.

Stacey Mason is the founder of Mason On Leadership, a leadership consultancy that largely focuses on behavioral assessments and executive coaching. She will speak about team building techniques using insight, perspective and humor to move people toward greater self-awareness and thought leadership.

Lisa Meier, president of Line of Sight Learning, will discuss individual growth by coaching and development, increased business productivity through team dynamics and increased self-reliance through "Train-the-Trainer" experiences.

Sylvia Camacho-Green will be highlighting the Bella Vista Village Property Owners Association's venues, amenities and golf courses that can be utilized for team building and golf fundraisers.

Space is limited and reservations are required. For reservations, contact Sylvia Camacho-Green at 479-855-5019 or [email protected].
