Traffic delays are frustrating
Well, it's happened again. It's high noon on a Friday (Aug. 14), and traffic on southbound U.S. 71 is backed up from County Road 40 to Mercy Way.
Fifteen minutes later, when you finally get down to the traffic light, you see that 12-15 vehicles get through on a light change while the traffic on Arkansas 40 is sailing along unobstructed.
How long will the residents of Bella Vista have to put up with being treated like stepsisters and being held hostage in our own community?
You can bet if this road was leading into Little Rock instead of Bentonville, this problem would have been fixed yesterday.
