Quilt Guild
Calico Cutups Quilt Guild will be hosting the annual NWA Quilt Congress on Sept. 25-26 at the Bella Vista Assembly of God Family Life Center, 1771 Forest Hills Blvd.
Lectures and workshops will be given by quilt designers Lynne Hagmeier of Kansas Troubles Quilts and Linda Pumphrey. Shopping with vendors and in the Country Store is available both days.
Pre-registration of $35 covers lectures and lunch on Saturday. Friday workshops are an additional fee.
Pre-registration is required by Sept. 15.

Granny's Quilts
of Love
The 12th annual dinner and auction, coming up Aug. 29, will be held at the Pea Ridge High School cafeteria. The dinner is from 5 to 7 p.m. and the auction will start around 6:30 p.m. The dinner will be pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans, coleslaw, drinks and homemade desserts. Adults $6, children 12 and under $4 and under two are free.
The group has now donated 20,350 quilts to the Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock.
The next meeting will be Aug. 18 at 9:30 a.m. at the Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church, 1300 N. Davis St., in Pea Ridge. This will be the last meeting before the dinner and auction. All members need to attend so plans can finalized.

Andante Music Club
The Andante Music Club of Bella Vista, Arkansas will begin its 2015/2016 season Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2015, at the Highland Christian Church of Bella Vista, located at 1500 Highland Blvd. in Bella Vista. The club meets the first Tuesday of each month (except January, July and August). All ladies and gentlemen of the community who enjoy and appreciate music are cordially invited to attend the meeting.
The September meeting will begin at 12:30 p.m. and will feature a potluck luncheon provided by members of the club. Guests are invited to attend the luncheon.
Following lunch, a program will be provided by the Skunk Hollow Band, a local, six-member instrumental/vocal group, who will play a mixture of older songs, country, gospel, folk and bluegrass. Members of the band play a variety of instruments, including a 5-string banjo, harmonica, several guitars and mandolin.
Following the program, Mandie Query, club president, will conduct a business meeting of the members.

Kansas Sunflower Club
The Kansas Sunflower Club will meet at 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 24 in the Village Community Room, 2838 Bella Vista Way. The Kansas Fun Time will by Roy Clark playing his guitar and singing country-western songs as he has done for years for us.
Pizza and drinks will be provided for $3 each. Attendees are asked to bring a Pot Luck small vegetable, salad or dessert dish. Reservations are not needed but requested if possible. Ladies Day Out
Join the Ladies Day Out on Tuesday, Sept. 15, at 10 a.m. for a day in Eureka Springs that will start with lunch at the Simply Scrumptious restaurant followed by an afternoon of shopping. Plans are to carpool from the parking lot at the Bella Vista Evangelical Free Bible Church across from Town Center. Perfect Harmony Women's Chorus
Perfect Harmony Women's Barbershop Chorus meets at 7 p.m. every Monday in the choir room of the United Lutheran Church of Bella Vista. Perfect Harmony is seeking new members to join our group. The chorus will find a part that fits the voice, no previous experience is required and there are no tryouts. The chous is working on new music; it would be a great time to join.
