At the recent Audrey's Resale Boutique Volunteer Appreciation Night, the guests gave "the layered look" new meaning. The object of the 10-minute game was to pile on as many items as they chose (buttoned and zippered), and purchase all those layers for just $10, after the sound of the bell.

The hilarity of their endeavor brought a lot of comic relief to the group who work so hard each week to assist ARB customers to select just-the-right-accessories to go with just-the-right outfit so that they leave the Boutique with marvelous treasures.

After sorting, organizing, merchandising and marketing Northwest Arkansas's newest resale boutique, it was an evening for "thank yous!" as co-founders Ed Lemerise and Jennifer Reis shared their gratitude with the group as well as updated them with inspirational progress reports reinforcing the value of their efforts.

"Our staff at the boutique are some of the most talented and experienced we could ask for," said Rosie Tucker, boutique manager. "We treated them to a "fancy pants" competition that was a comedy at best. I was delighted to underwrite the cost of this game, which sent everyone home giggling. The ladies work so hard, they deserved a special evening."
