Thanks to vets for coming to concert
A sincere thank you to the many Bella Vista veterans and citizens who attended the U.S. Air Force Band of Mid-America concert at Gravette High School's Performing Arts Center Monday evening. A nearly full house enjoyed the great concert.
Songs representing each service branch were performed toward the end of the concert, and the conductor invited those who had served in each branch to stand during "their" song.
More than 90 percent of the audience stood, which was a very inspiring sight. The conductor commented that it was the most awesome response in 14 years of performances.
Gravette Schools benefit greatly from the support of so many Bella Vistans. Monday evening provided a chance for many of them to be thanked for their service. Thank you to the many people who made the terrific concert possible.
