Jeanne Ferguson of Bella Vista became a first-time ace Aug. 20, 2014. Her hole-in-one occurred on the par-3 No. 5 at the Highlands Golf Course when her 3-wood sent the ball soaring 122 yards. Witnessing the feat were Charlie Epperson, Charlotte Sorenson and Elaine Vatalaro.
Ferguson has been playing the game for 15 years.
