Monday, Sept. 22

• 3:41 a.m. John Levezow, 44, was arrested for aggravated assault on a family member and terroristic threatening after a disturbance at Witham Lane.

• 7:21 a.m. Police found a cairn terrier that was blind in its left eye and was wearing a green collar on Hampton Lane and took it to the Bella Vista Animal Shelter.

• 10:19 a.m. A person walked into the Police Department and turned in a gun.

• 11:21 a.m. Craig Richardson, 49, was arrested for contempt of court stemming from charges of drinking in public.

• 2:40 p.m. Police took a basset hound they found at Finger Drive to the Bella Vista Animal Shelter.

• 4:04 p.m. A caller on Ettington Drive reported that he had a skunk in his backyard and wanted to know about possible relocation of the animal.

• 4:53 p.m. Jonathan Morris, 26, turned himself in to the Police Department for a failure-to-appear warrant on charges originating from dog at large and contempt of court for fines and charges.

• 17:01 p.m. Elizabeth Finnestead, 24, turned herself in to Bella Vista police on a failure-to-appear warrant on charges originating from violating an animal control ordinance.

Tuesday, Sept. 23

• 3 p.m. Jaclyn Henry, 20, was arrested for domestic battery on Westbury Drive.

• 4:55 p.m. After a traffic accident near Metfield Park, Robert York, 27, was cited for driving while intoxicated and texting while driving.

• 7:29 p.m. Kenneth Atwell, 22, turned himself in at the Police Department on a contempt-of-court warrant. The original charge was for domestic assault.

• 1141 p.m. After a traffic stop on Dartmoor Road and Mercy Way, Sherry Blue, 32, was arrested for driving while intoxicated and Stephanie Spoonemore, 29, was arrested for warrants out of Siloam Springs and Gentry.

Wednesday, Sept. 24

• 10:53 a.m. Police recovered two terriers of mixed complexion on Sean Lane and took them to the animal shelter.

• 11:07 a.m. Police received a call from a resident on Concordia Drive who said she had recorded harassing phone calls from solicitors.

• 11:38 a.m. A man on Kintyre Lane told police his boat had been broken into and that thieves stole the boat's battery and stripped the wiring.

• 12:13 p.m. A resident walked into the Police Department asking officers for help after she paid $100 to a tree-clearing service that failed to follow through on the work.

• 6:45 p.m. Police found a yellow Labrador mix at Worlaby Lane and took it to the animal shelter. The dog was wearing a pink collar.

Thursday, Sept. 25

• 8:04 a.m. A caller on Davington Lane reported a juvenile male was missing.

• 4:44 p.m. Officers removed a tree blocking traffic on U.S. 71 north near Sugar Creek Center.

• 5:25 p.m. Police recovered a runaway male juvenile at Glasgow Road and Sherlock Drive and took him to Youth Bridge.

• 5:57 p.m. A caller reported that a man on I-49 northbound was standing outside his vehicle attempting to pull people over with hand signals.

Friday, Sept. 26

• 9:36 a.m. A caller near Hampstead and Westmorland Drive reported suspicious activity when she saw two males walking down the street, one of whom was carrying a baseball bat. They were morning walkers.

• 10:32 a.m. Jeffrey Mckinnis, 48, turned himself in to the Police Department on a warrant for failure to appear on charges stemming from driving while intoxicated and driving with a suspended license.

• 10:52 a.m. Police responded to an animal welfare check on Warwick Lane where they found a dog tied to a tree with no food or water in its bowl.

• 10:59 a.m. A caller on Tamworth Circle reported that a white male with a funny mustache and skull cap with flames on it kept driving by her house.

• 1:46 p.m. Peter Backie, 28, turned himself in to the Police Department on a warrant for contempt of court stemming from fines and charges.

• 7:11 p.m. Police received a traffic complaint of a motorcycle southbound on U.S. 71 whose driver was texting and nearly lost control of the motorcycle.

Saturday, Sept. 27

• 3:21 p.m. A caller on Merrit Lane reported three juvenile males were riding their bikes and ringing doorbells.

• 10:39 p.m. A caller said that the stop sign and street sign at Commonwealth and Euston were missing. It was later discovered that the sign was run over.

• 11:52 p.m. A caller on Cherhill Drive reported that a snake was in their house and they were unsure whether it was poisonous.

Sunday, Sept. 28

• 12:32 a.m. Sherry Blue, 32, was booked for DWI after a motorist assist near Veterans Way.

• 2:53 a.m. Ronald Goff, 51, was arrested for aggravated assault, resisting arrest and terroristic threatening after a disturbance on Robin Road.

• 9:34 p.m. A caller on Buckingham Drive said that she had received calls from a man with no caller ID who was sexually harassing her over the phone.
