Do you want to learn how to play golf or improve your game?
Bella Vista Village is seeking property owners to participate in its beginners golf seminar for adults in August.
The instructional seminar will be from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on four consecutive Wednesdays from Aug. 6-27 at the Tanyard Creek Practice Center, 10 Nature Trail Lane. The cost is $20 per person, and space is limited to the first 20 applicants.
The seminar will include golf skill instruction, such as driving, iron play, chipping and putting. Participants will also be instructed on proper course etiquette. Basic rules, safety, keeping score and ready play will be reviewed during the course.
On-course play will be offered in the last teaching session at a casual yet structured setting using fun, skill-enhancement formats, according to a news release from the Property Owners Association.
The final golf seminar of the season will be offered from 10 to 11 a.m. on four consecutive Saturdays from Sept. 6-27.
Registration forms are available on the association's website -- www.bellavistapoa.com/golf/images/GolfSeminarRegistration2014.pdf -- and at the Golf Division office, located in the Bella Vista Country Club, 98 Clubhouse Drive. Forms and payments should be submitted to the Golf Division office.
