Monday, Aug. 18

• 7:15 a.m. A school bus was rear-ended by a passenger car at Bella Vista Way and Oldham Drive.

• 11:14 a.m. Jacob Cline, 22, was served a failure-to-appear warrant and released on bond at the Bella Vista Police Department.

Tuesday, Aug. 19

• 11:57 a.m. A caller on Hope Drive reported the theft of jewelry and a phone.

• 3:11 p.m. Michael Obersteadt, 33, was served a warrant at Bentonville District Court for domestic battery and failure to appear.

• 3:46 p.m. Jason Clark, 36, turned himself in at the Police Department on a warrant for violation of an order of protection.

• 4:35 p.m. Someone reported an overturned vehicle off of Lancashire Boulevard near Trafalgar Road. Jimmy Lothes, 36, was found dead in the vehicle, which had been there for three days.

• 8:18 p.m. Phillip Kendall, 24, was served a warrant at the Benton County Jail for possession of a controlled substance.

Wednesday, Aug. 20

• 3:55 a.m. People were reported to be camping on the dam at Lake Norwood.

• 8:36 p.m. A caller needed help moving a TV out of a home on Lerwick Lane.

Thursday, Aug. 21

• 7:56 a.m. James Henley, 54, was cited for careless and prohibited driving and possession of drug paraphernalia after crashing his work truck on Bella Vista Way near Trafalgar Road.

• 9:21 a.m. Nicole Heese, 20, was served a warrant for failure to appear. The original charge was for driving with no insurance.

• 10:17 a.m. John Williams, 44, was arrested for third-degree domestic battery after a disturbance on Taylor Drive.

• 1: 36 p.m. A tree fell on a man on Salisbury Drive.

• 5:29 p.m. John Levezow, 44, was picked up by Bella Vista police on Witham Lane as an agency assist for Bentonville police. Levezow had a felony warrant for terroristic threatening.

• 5:46 p.m. Matthew Bryner, 24, was served a warrant at the Benton County Jail.

Friday, Aug. 22

• 12:52 a.m. Justin Starkey, 43, was arrested at the rest area on Bella Vista Way for driving while intoxicated.

• 9:01 a.m. A caller reported several cats running loose on Brecknock Drive.

• 10:38 a.m. After a call of people driving ATVs up and down Melbourne Drive, police arrested Tobby Heavin, 35, for driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to alcohol tests and driving ATVs on the roadway.

• 11:32 p.m. Abraham Bernard, 41, was served a warrant at the Benton County Jail.

• 11:48 p.m. A male at the rest area on Bella Vista Way was given a warning for indecent exposure and, according to dispatch logs, he would be "putting his clothes back on, putting the toy up and he will behave the rest of the night."

Saturday, Aug. 23

• 8:11 a.m. Lyndon Nesbitt, 31, was served a contempt-of-court warrant at the Benton County Jail.

• 2:57 p.m. A caller said someone phoned him and told him not to go outside because there was a Bengal tiger on the loose.

Sunday, Aug. 24

• 7:29 a.m. After a 911 call reporting a person slumped over the steering wheel of a car on Bella Vista Way at Town Center, police arrested Patrick Holt, 22, for driving while intoxicated.

• 4:13 p.m. Megan Sullivan, 18, was turned over to Bentonville police for a warrant after a traffic stop at Lancashire Boulevard and Village Center.
