Entries accepted for 18-hole event

"Flip Flop into Fall" is the name given to this year's Bella Vista Invitational sponsored by the Bella Vista Women's Golf Club.

This tournament has been a September tradition since 1969. All women with an 18-hole handicap are invited to play.

This two-woman scramble is scheduled for Sept. 4. Teams will be flighted based on the lowest partner's handicap. Registration and a continental breakfast begin at 8 a.m. and will be followed by a shotgun start at 9 a.m. on the Berksdale Golf Course.

The entry fee is $32 per player and includes one mulligan and one save-a-putt. Green fees and carts are not included.

Make reservations early, as the field is limited. The deadline is Aug. 26. Entry forms are available at all Bella Vista golf shops or online at www.bvwgc.com.

Entry forms and checks made payable to BVWGC should be mailed to Gayle Placial, 6 Ashton Circle, Bella Vista, AR 72715. Be sure to include each player's Handicap Index on the form.
