The Schmieding Center in Bella Vista is offering several free health-related programs for Bella Vista residents.
All but two of the programs -- the Senior Services Expo and the Lunch and Learn -- will take place at the Bella Vista Health Resource Center in Highlands Crossing, 1801 Forest Hills Blvd., Suite 129. The center's phone number is 479-876-2335.
• The Bella Vista Resource Advisory Council will hold the annual Senior Services Expo from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, May 1, at Riordan Hall, 3 Riordan Drive.
• BrightStar Home Care will present blood pressure and equipment checks from 10 a.m. to noon, Tuesday, May 6.
• Right At Home In Home Care & Assistance will present "Design Your Mind" from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, May 7.
• Miracle Ear will do hearing aid cleaning and checks from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 7.
• Schmieding CARES will present a memory screening from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, May 8.
• Bentonville Eye Care will adjust eyeglasses from 10 a.m. to noon Monday, May 12.
• Alliance Home Health will provide a blood pressure screening from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 13.
• Health South will present a program on "Fall and Risk Prevention" from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 14.
• Better Hearing and Balance Connection will provide hearing tests and aid adjustment from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday, May 15.
• Elite Home Health will provide blood pressure and glucose screening from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 21.
• Tracy Lynn Cox will present a program titled "Rest, Relax, Rejuvenate" from 3 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 21.
• The Elder Law Practice of Todd Whatley will offer "Coffee with an Elder Law Attorney" from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, May 22.
• Dr. Marjorie Renfrow will present a Lunch and Learn program on "Dementia Differential" from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, at the United Lutheran Church of Bella Vista, 100 Cooper Road. Call 1-800-734-2024 to register.
