A fundraiser and a "family" reunion for the Bella Vista Animal Shelter are coming up.
The shelter will host its annual "Brats and Dogs" fundraiser from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, April 26, in the parking lot at Allen's Foods, 60 Sugar Creek Center. The cost is $3 for a hot dog meal and $4 for a brat meal. Caramelized onions, sauerkraut, chips, dessert and soft drinks will be available. The event will be held rain or shine.
On Sunday, May 18, past residents of the shelter and their new families or foster parents are invited to a Pups in the Park reunion at the K-9 Corral, located by the Glasgow softball field in Bella Vista. Cat parents are welcome to come as well and bring pictures. There will be a tent set up with T-shirts for sale.
