Unity Church of the Ozarks

Unity Church of the Ozarks continues Sunday 10:30 a.m. on Facebook with the Rev. Elise Cowan speaking on "Celebrate The Dark Side."

At 7 p.m., nightly, Larry Owensby shares a short message, followed by a meditation. These can be viewed on Facebook at a later time.

The Wednesday 4 p.m. book club continues to discuss the Rev. Sheree Taylor-Jones book, "Turn Your Why? into Why Not." Contact the Rev. Cowan at minister@unityozarks for the Zoom passwords.

A Food Pantry has food available in front of the church at 2200 SE J St., Bentonville.

United Lutheran Church

United Lutheran Church's second Annual International Food Festival continues through October. Once a month, the church plans and prepares a meal of a different international origin. The Saturday, Sept. 26, menu is Mexican and pickup will be between 4 and 7 p.m. at the church. The cost is $12 per meal and is offered as a "grab-and-go" service. Bella Vista Community Church

BVCC continues to suspend non-ministry events and Kids Connect until further notice. Church ministries may meet by appointment only through the church office. Please call the office to set up a meeting time.

Men's Fellowship meets 8 a.m. on Mondays in the overflow room near the information center; Prayer Fellowship meets 9 a.m. and Prayer Group meets at 10:15 a.m. Wednesdays in McKay Hall; Koffee Klatch meets 9:30 a.m. Thursdays in McKay Hall. All must enter the building through the office door.

Social distancing guidelines are being followed to ensure a safe and healthy worship experience on Sundays. Visit bvcc.net for more info about services, video sermons, and daily devotionals to stay connected from home.

Presbyterian Church of Bella Vista

In-person worship has returned at 10 a.m. Sundays. No childcare is provided at this time. Safety guidelines are available on the home page of www.pcbv.org. Seating is limited to maintain safe physical distancing and should be reserved by calling the church office at 479-855-2390. The service will be live-streamed on the church website or Facebook page. A recording is posted Sunday afternoons. In-person Sunday school classes and other church activities will resume at a later date.

The Bella Vista Presbyterian team is all set to walk individually over the next few weeks in support of this year's Walk to End Alzheimer's. The church is requesting your help. Call the church office at 479-855-2390 by Sept. 20 to make a pledge and drop off your donation, or mail your check to the church by Sept. 20. Checks payable to PCBV with "Alzheimer's Walk" in the memo.

Village Bible Church

The live worship service is at 10:15 a.m. Sundays. Pastor Mark Voll will be preaching. Seating arrangements have been readjusted for social distancing. The service is live-streamed on Facebook; Vimeo.com/user42482704; and later in the day at www.villagebibleefc.org; and audio of the live service can be heard on 90.3 FM in the south church parking lot.

The Oasis Food Pantry is open each Wednesday from 10 a.m. to noon for drive-thru pickup. For more information, contact the church at 479-876-5764.

Bella Vista Lutheran Church

Sunday worship services are at 8:30 a.m. (traditional) and 10:45 a.m. (blended). Sunday school for all ages and adult Bible classes are at 9:45 a.m. Masks are worn and social distancing is practiced at all times. Church services are also carried on www.bvlutheran.com.

Men's Bible study meets every Wednesday at 1 p.m. and again at 7 p.m. in the chapel.

Grief-Share support group meets every Thursday at 3 p.m. in the chapel and will continue until Thursday, Nov. 12. This group is to provide help and encouragement after the death of a spouse, child, family member or friend. Call Dorothy Jones at 479-366-1700 with any questions.

The Shepherd's Food Pantry is open every Friday from 10 a.m. until noon. Please wear a face mask.

Unitarian Universalists of Benton County

To prevent the spread of the new coronavirus, in-person Sunday services at UUBC are canceled until further notice. Those who wish may attend worship services of The Unitarian Universalist Church of Fayetteville (UUFF) via Zoom with a link found on uufayetteville.org.

Highlands Church (United Methodist)

The next blood drive is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 23, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is organized by the HUMMERS (Highlands United Methodist Men). Free cholesterol screening is also available. Eat well and drink plenty of fluids prior to giving blood. Photo ID required. Appointments are strongly encouraged to manage donor flow and can be scheduled at 417-227-5006 or go to www.cbco.org/donate-blood. Masks are required for all donors and staff. All participants will receive a free T-shirt.

Highlands Church will host the third annual "Free Cruise-In & Car Show" in memory of John Edwards and his work for Gravette School students on Saturday, Sept. 19, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Spectators are welcome to check out the vehicles on display and enjoy the "free" lunch with a $10 donation. Display your special vehicle(s) for free and receive a free lunch ticket. Vehicle registration opens at 9:30 a.m. No judging. Proceeds go to support Bright Futures, Samaritan's Feet and Snack Packs for Gravette school district students. This year's event will be entirely outdoors, so please bring your own lawn chair. All state-mandated safety precautions will be in place. The event will take place at Highlands Church, 371 Glasgow Road, Bella Vista.
