Presbyterian Church of Bella Vista
All church services and activities are canceled until September. The Session will revisit this decision at the July and August meetings. Weekly worship service is being recorded and posted to the website, www.pcbv.org, under the "Worship" tab. Each service will also be shared on the Presbyterian Church of Bella Vista Facebook page on Sunday mornings.
Reverend Dennis Ritchie will lead worship for the last time at the June 28 service. The congregation at Presbyterian Church of Bella Vista is grateful that he postponed his retirement in order to lead through the first few months of the pandemic and wish him and Carol God's blessings in the years to come.
Village Bible Church
The live worship service is at 10:15 a.m. Sundays. Pastor Mark Voll will be preaching on the parables of Jesus during the month of June. Seating arrangements have been readjusted for social distancing. The service is live-streamed on Facebook; streamed to Vimeo.com/user 42482704; at www.villagebibleefc.org; and audio of the live service can be heard on 90.3 FM in the south church parking lot.
The Oasis Food Pantry is open each Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to Noon for drive-thru pickup. For more information, contact the church at 479-876-5764.
Unitarian Universalists
Sunday services at UUBC are canceled until further notice. Those who wish may attend worship services of The Unitarian Universalist Church of Fayetteville (UUFF) via Zoom with a link found on uufayetteville.org.
Bella Vista Lutheran Church
Live worship services have resumed. Social distancing is practiced at both services. Sunday school and adult bible classes are operating again at 9:45 a.m.
Beginning Friday, July 10, the Shepherd's Food Pantry will be operating in the original pantry area of the building. Until the morning of the 10th, please continue in the drive-through operation. The packers and food handlers will continue to wear masks. The church requests that you not visit if you are not feeling well at the time. The pantry will be closed on July 3 for the holiday. Friday hours remain 10 a.m. until noon.
The Thursday golf league consists of single or couples players. For more information, contact Bill Scholten at 479-855-0272.
The "Sonday Riders" will meet at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 28. All two-, three- or four-wheel vehicles are welcome to join in for a two-hour ride
United Lutheran Church
United Lutheran Church is hosting its second Annual International Food Festival June through October this year. Once a month, the church plans and prepares a meal of a different international origin. Asian cuisine is on the menu for June 27 and pickup will be between 4 and 7 p.m. at the church. The cost is $12 per meal and is offered as a "grab-and-go" service.
