What has Mr. McKee done for the membership over this past year except show up for meetings and vote or not? As a stand-alone director, I can't think of a single thing that Mr. McKee did to improve my lot or anybody else's. "Members First" -- I can't think of a single instance where the POA has put a non-member ahead of my benefits as a member.
We are not a gated community. Our size (perhaps the largest POA in the USA) and the fact that U.S. 71 runs right through our community, plus other factors, make treating our property like a gated community almost impossible, which is what Mr. McKee and Mr. Dooley seem to want, to put "Members First." Again, I have never been inconvenienced by a non-member. And, under the chairman's past leadership by Bob Brooks and Ron Stratton, we now enjoy very nice facilities like Lakepoint and the BV Bar and Grill plus significant upgrades to Branchwood and Metfield, etc!
The fact that I've never seen Mr. Dooley, Mr. McKee or others of his cadre patronize these and other facilities makes me believe that their intentions are shallow at best. I want to thank all our members who do appreciate the progress being made in Bella Vista, with hopes to continue.
