Bella Vista Baptist Church carries on during pandemic

Bella Vista Baptist Church is continuing a 9 a.m. parking lot service in the east parking lot. The 11 a.m. service has resumed inside its worship center while practicing social distancing. It prefers one contact the church to sign up for a reserved space inside the worship center if it is your choice to attend the live service. This allows for the set up of the worship center with the correct number of seats and allows for the six feet social distancing. You must wear a mask on your way into the building and out of the building. With the governor's new/updated guidance, while seated in the building you can remove your mask. The service is also posted online each Sunday afternoon.

Adult Sunday School Teachers have been video-recording the lesson for each Sunday. These are then posted to their website and Facebook page.

Because Vacation Bible School had to be canceled this year, due to the virus, the Bella Vista Baptist Church children's ministry director, Julie Hettel, and preschool ministries director, Ashley Abernathy, have been putting together pizza boxes containing Vacation Bible School In a Box and delivering it to the porches of all the children in the church. They report it as a big hit.

The women's ministries of the church have been meeting in the lower east parking lot of the church on Wednesday mornings. The women bring lawn chairs, practice social distancing, share a passage of scripture and fellowship. This also has been very successful.

The men's ministries of the church have been meeting outside for Bible study, under the awning by the fellowship hall on Tuesday morning's at 6:30 a.m.

They will be relaunching IMPACT Student Ministry outdoors each Wednesday from 6-7 p.m. To sign up or learn more, people can visit www.bvbaptist.com/students.
