11:16 p.m. Police arrested Kevin Reyes, 23, in connection with possession of a controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence after responding to a traffic complaint on U.S. Highway 71.

6:18 p.m. Police arrested James Cannady, 56, in connection with possession of a controlled substance, driving on a suspended license, improper use of evidence of registration, no proof of insurance and felony false evidence of title or registration during a traffic stop on Arkansas Highway 279.

5:55 p.m. Police arrested Gerald Nichols, 22, in connection with felony possession of drug paraphernalia after making contact with him at the All in One gas station.

4:53 p.m. Police arrested John Demerchant, 50, in connection with driving while intoxicated, as well as Suzette Green, 47, in connection with public intoxication and open container during a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 71.
11:16 p.m. Police arrested Israel Hernandez, 19, in connection with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance during a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 71.
11:40 p.m. Police arrested Timothy Netzer, 33, in connection with driving while intoxicated during a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 71.

3:19 p.m. Police received a report of a suspicious pickup stopping at unoccupied houses on Hatcher Drive. Officers found the people in the truck were landscapers working on houses in the neighborhood.

4:49 p.m. Police arrested Chasity Frohn, 35, in connection with terroristic threatening after responding to a disturbance call on Lambeth Drive.

12:28 a.m. Police received a complaint about a loud party on Melissa Lane. The residents agreed to keep it down.

10:36 p.m. Police arrested Christine Hall, 33, in connection with nonfinancial identity fraud during a traffic stop at Mercy hospital.
Sunday, Jan. 5
12:16 p.m. Firefighters responded to a possible structure fire on Dunedin Drive. A smoke smell was traced back to a faulty heating unit.
6:38 p.m. Police arrested Jason Childress, 37, in connection with an open container and driving on a suspended license, as well as Leanna Wilkerson, 28, on an out-of-town warrant during a traffic stop near the intersection of Hampstead Road and Wreay Lane.
