Two men were arrested in connection with aggravated robbery after police investigated an armed robbery in Bella Vista Tuesday, Feb. 11.

Elijah Brown, 18, and Levar Livingston, 18, were charged with aggravated robbery, second-degree battery and two counts of theft of a firearm, all felony charges, according to a news release issued by the city.

According to the news release, the two suspects wanted firearms to appear in a rap video they were working on and contacted a juvenile who lives in Bella Vista.

The juvenile stated he had firearms, according to the press release, and the suspects met him in Bella Vista.

According to the document, Livingston put a loaded firearm in the juvenile's face, struck him, kicked him out of the vehicle and stole the firearms while Brown drove.

Brown and Livingston were identified and selected by the victim in a photograph array and arrest warrants were issued for the pair.

Criminal Investigative Division Lt. Byron Stival said the two suspects appear to have only known the victim through social media.

Police were able to find social media information and send it to the Fayetteville Police Department, which identified the subjects and compiled a photo array through which the victim could identify the suspects.

"We still have more to investigate on this incident," he said.

Brown was arrested on his warrant in Fayetteville Feb. 14 and transported to the Benton County Jail, where he was released on a$100,000 bond.

Livingston was arrested in Washington County and is currently held at the Benton County Jail in lieu of a $150,000 bond.
