For three years, Trump has been the target of hateful attacks from Democrats and the media. Trump chooses to counterattack, often with more hateful and vitriolic language. This is a shame; if he would rise above these and not lower himself to their level, the attacks would lessen greatly. "Ignore them and they will go away." This would help cure the hate and division in this country. He might even gain some respect from the media and the Left.
People defend Trump by saying he is a New York street fighter and this is his nature. Nonsense! It is time he adapts more presidential decorum and restores dignity to the office.
