Bella Vista Community Church

Sunday, Nov, 10, BVCC will have a joint, patriotic worship service in honor of Veterans Day from 10-10:45 a.m., followed by a short break. BVCC's annual meeting is from 10:55-11:30 a.m.

BVCC will host a presentation by the Benton County Sheriff's Office called Parents Night Out on Thursday, Nov. 14, from 6 to 8 p.m. Discussion includes the dangers children face online and how to proactively protect them. Forest Hills Church

Sunday, Nov. 3, 10:45 a.m. worship with the Rev. Bob Box bringing the morning message. At 4 p.m. Sunday Singalong with the band All In and McCafferty Sisters. All are welcome.

Bella Vista Lutheran Church

Trunk and Treat will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct, 31. There will be inflatables, horseback rides, popcorn, hot chocolate and candy. In case of rain, the event will be held indoors at Bella Vista Lutheran Church, 1990 Forest Hills Blvd.

All singers are welcome to join in the mass choir to sing Handel's Messiah. The choir practices are on Saturdays at 10 a.m. The Celebration Choir and Orchestra will perform "The Messiah" at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8.

GriefShare meets at 3 p.m. every Thursday in the church library. If you have lost a loved one recently, this is a wonderful support group.

The Shepherd's Food Pantry is open every Friday from 10 a.m. until noon. The pantry is also collecting items for the upcoming holidays and requests canned sweet potatoes, cream of mushroom soup, pure pumpkin, evaporated milk and canned cranberry sauce. A container for donations is in the church narthex.

Village Bible Church

Wednesday, Oct. 30, the Oasis Food Pantry will be open from 10 a.m. to noon. This ministry is available to anyone in the area who needs help with groceries and would appreciate the compassion and encouragement of friendly volunteers.

Sunday, Nov. 3, Pastor Mark and Associate Pastor Al will continue the sermon series titled "Faith That Makes A Difference" Discoveries in the Letter of James.

Village Baptist Church

Wednesday, Nov. 6, the Senior Ministry of Village Baptist Church will host its quarterly Celebrate Seniors meeting from 10:30 a.m. to noon. The program will feature Betsy Broyles Arnold of the Broyles Foundation discussing "Early Signs of Alzheimer's." The program is aiming to increase knowledge about this disease. There will be Q & A time and open discussion following the program. If you are a caregiver, you may bring the person you care for and there will be assistants available to spend time with them while you attend the meeting. The Broyles Foundation is a nonprofit organization established by Arkansas sports legend Frank Broyles. The foundation provides support services at no cost for the caregivers of those living with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. Services offered include: education and training, advocacy and awareness, counseling, support groups, resource distribution, referral services and more. St. Bernard Catholic Church

The annual holiday bazaar, "Home for the Holidays," sponsored by the St. Bernard's Women's Club, will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 1 St. Bernard Lane, Bella Vista. There will be all sorts of handmade items crafted with care from farmhouse decor and wood projects to handmade holiday crafts. There will be a raffle for a TV, a handmade quilt and more; as well as a 50/50 raffle. Baked goods will be sold, and the Bazaar Cafe will serve chili, chicken soup and other delectables. Breakfast, lunch and carry-outs will also be available.
