We would like to put to bed a rumor we have heard. A recent visitor to the Bella Vista Historical Museum told us that the Wishing Spring Art Gallery is to be torn down in a couple of years when County Road 40 is to be widened. We have checked with Mayor Peter Christie, who said there has been discussion in the past about widening Ford Springs Road and County Road 40 from Ford Springs Road to Highway 71 if the Bentonville School District ever develops their property on Ford Springs Road, but there was never any discussion about tearing down the Gallery.
