Nov. 14

s Clay Studio is offering a workshop to create a beautiful votive for the holiday season. Enjoy a hand-building workshop to create unique designs and shapes with your own personalized glazes. Artist Susan Hacker will personally help you build a clay votive with simple step-by-step instructions. Register at 479-257-2221 by Thursday, Nov. 14. The workshop will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, at the studio behind Wishing Spring Art Gallery. The cost is $40, which includes all materials and supplies needed to complete your piece in time for the holidays.

s The Friends of Dogwood and Brittany are sponsoring a "Daffodil Planting Party" at 8 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 14. We are planning on planting over 1,000 daffodils on the Back 9 of the Dogwood Golf Course. All are welcome to join the fun -- no special skills needed. The Friends of Dogwood and Brittany is a volunteer organization dedicated to improving the golfer's experience at the Dogwood and Brittany Golf Courses.

Nov. 15

s A Tribute to the heroes and music of the greatest generation will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, at Riordan Hall. The 17-piece NWA Jazz and More Orchestra will perform in observance of the Dec. 7, 1941, attack on Pearl Harbor and the Sept. 11, 2001, attack on America. This is a free patriotic community event; no tickets, no reservations.

Nov. 18

s Handcrafted arrangements of fresh greens and berries for holiday mailboxes or door swags are being sold by PEO Chapter BR. Proceeds of the sale will make a difference in women's lives through PEO's philanthropic projects that provide higher education assistance. The cost of $15 includes delivery and installation in Bella Vista. The sales deadline is Nov. 18, and delivery is Dec. 6-7. To place an order, contact [email protected] or call/text 805-844-8437.

Nov. 23

s The Bella Vista Photography Club's annual Fall Print Show will be held at the Bella Vista Country Club from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23. All are invited!

Dec. 7

s The 31st annual Cookie Walk, sponsored by Highlands Church, will take place Saturday, Dec. 7, at 371 Glasgow Road in Bella Vista. The doors open at 8 a.m. The "walk" begins at 8:30 and lasts until 11 a.m. or until all the cookies are gone. Those who visit the Cookie Walk may also enjoy a Coffee Shoppe, Sweet Shoppe, Soups-to-Go, and Hand-Made Crafts for holiday gift-giving. The cost per can is $12 -- first-come, first-served, no pre-orders. All money raised will go to support local and regional charities. s The Bella Vista Community Church will hold its annual English Tea Saturday, Dec. 7. The theme this year is "Let There Be Peace On Earth." There are two seatings, the first at 1 p.m. and the second at 3 p.m. There will be a program beginning at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 each and will be on sale Monday through Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. until sold out. Tickets will be sold at the church at 75 E. Lancashire Blvd. There is a limit of eight tickets (one table) for the 1 p.m. seating and no limit for the 3 p.m. seating. No reservations are available.

Dec. 14

s The Bella Vista Community Concert Band's final concert performance of the 2019 season will be a Christmas program at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, at the Bella Vista Community Church in Bella Vista. There is no charge and everyone is invited to attend.
