Bella Vista Community Church

Summer Arts Camp is Monday-Friday, June 17-21, from 8:30-11:30 a.m., for kids entering grades 1-6. More information is available at the Information Center on Sunday mornings or online at bvcc.net. This year features exciting new classes such as clay, weaving and dance, including tap and ballet. Classes fill up quickly and are on a first-come, first-serve basis, so register early. Registration ends June 10.

Presbyterian Church of Bella Vista

During worship on Sunday, April 28, Lorna Sterrett and Vicki Erickson were awarded Presbyterian Women Honorary Lifetime Membership pins. Presbyterian Women is the women's organization of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), a community of women committed to nurturing faith through prayer and Bible study, supporting the mission of the church, and working for justice and peace. Vicki Erickson, along with PCBV member Maryann Sweeney, is co-moderator of the Presbytery of Arkansas Presbyterian Women Coordinating Team.

Village Bible Church

Wednesday, May 8, the Oasis Food Pantry will be open from 10 a.m. to noon. This ministry is available to anyone in the area who needs help with groceries and would appreciate the compassion and encouragement of friendly volunteers.

Sunday, May 12, Pastor Mark Voll will continue his sermon series titled "Because He Lives." This Sunday's sermon is titled "Women at the Table," with a text of Acts 1:12-14.

Unity Church of the Ozarks

Sunday, May 12, Rev. Elise Cowan will present "Mother Earth Spirituality. The service is followed with Standing in Peace at 12 p.m. Join in holding the vision to assist in manifesting peace.

Wednesday night classes, 7-8:30 p.m., studies "Heart-Centered Metaphysics" by Paul Hasselbeck and will be guided by Rev Elise Cowan and Kent Lowrey. Learn to think and talk like a metaphysician while studying "Spiritual Awareness, our Purpose, and Divine Guidance." We study the relationship between them. Ten-minute meditation follows the class.

Unity Social Action Team will hold the Spring Salvation Army Food Drive at Walmart Neighborhood Market, 1400 N. Walton Blvd., Bentonville, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 11. Food donations are welcome.

First United Methodist Church

Two weekly meetings of AA are hosted at the church on Monday and Saturday. Please call or stop by the church for more information.

Bella Vista Lutheran Church

The Quilters of Bella Vista Lutheran Church are in need of sheets to be used for backing of the quilts they make for Lutheran World Relief. Sheets do not need to be new but need to be in good shape. All sheet sizes are welcome.

The Shepherd's Food Pantry is open every Friday from 10 a.m. until noon. It is collecting the "Best Choice" PVC labels which can be redeemed for the purchase of items to help those in need. A container for donations is in the church narthex.
