Women's 5-Hole Golf Meet 'n Greet -- March 18

Women who are interested in a no handicap casual golf group are invited to a drop-in at the Meet 'n Greet Coffee between 10 a.m. and noon Monday, March 18, at Riordan Hall. Registration forms will be available at this event.

The group plays on Monday mornings at the Brittany course and has the choice to either walk or ride. Dues are only $12. Play starts April 1 and runs through October. You can join at any time by checking out the website, Women's 5-hole golf under POA golf. This is the longest-running women's golf group in the village, started by a group who wanted to play a casual, no handicap game of golf. Today most play nine, but only score the first 5 holes. Those who wish to join by mail can get their registration form online and mail it with a check made out to Women's 5- hole golf to Connie Johnson at 19 Chapel Lane, Bella Vista, AR 72715. 2019 Rules Workshop -- USGA Rule Changes -- March 21

The Bella Vista Women's Golf Club Rules Committee is hosting the "2019 Rules Workshop" beginning at 7:45 a.m. with a continental breakfast followed by the workshop at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, March 21, at Highlands Methodist Church, located at 371 Glasgow Rd. in Bella Vista. Darryl Muldoon, director of golf operations and his staff will review many of the changes to the USGA rules. There will be an opportunity for Q&A. Spring 3-Person Scramble -- March 30-31

This tournament is slated for play on the Kingswood golf course Saturday, March 30 and Sunday, March 31, for all golfers with a verifiable handicap. Both days begin at 8 a.m. with coffee; and following at 9 a.m., a shotgun start. Following final-round play on Sunday, lunch and awards will take place at Riordan Hall. To maintain pace of play, there is a maximum score of double bogey on each hole. The entry fee is $135 per team ($45 per player) plus applicable green/cart fees. Entry fee includes one mulligan per player, per day; coffee; team and contest prizes; and lunch following the final round. Registration deadline is 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, with a $10 late registration fee if applicable.

Women's 9-Hole Golf Association

The Women's 9-Hole Golf Association is about making friends, playing golf and promises of warm weather and warm friendships. The typical season runs from April to September, with play on Monday mornings. The Spring Brunch will be held on Monday, March 25, at Riordan Hall, with more details to follow. Women's 18-Hole Golf Club

Bella Vista Women's Golf Club is accepting new and returning members. The club promotes fun, friendship and golf with a motto of "Be Courteous, Be Kind, Be Kind to the Course." The season begins in April and runs through October, with play every Thursday morning. Membership digital applications are now available, with additional information, on the website at www.bvwgc.com.

Oldes 9-Hole Golf Group

The Oldes Golf Group in Bella Vista is seeking new members for its 9-hole 2019 season which runs from April to the end of October. Play is Tuesday mornings at all Bella Vista courses, with 13 of its events at Kingswood and Berksdale. This group plays from the Red Tees with a Texas Scramble every week. Men's 9-Hole Golf Association

The Men's 9-Hole Golf Association is currently accepting membership applications for the 2019 golf season. Play is on Wednesdays, with tee times, four handicapped flights and weekly sponsored prizes on all holes. The association also holds a spring and fall banquet. Applications are available in the pro shops and can be downloaded from the POA website as well as from sites.google.com/site/bv9mga/home. Men's 18-Hole Golf Association

The Men's Golf Association is accepting new members to join the 2019 Tuesday golf league. Current and new members can sign up on the website at www.bvmga.com for the 2019 season. The MGA is open to both POA members and non-POA members. Play begins on Tuesday, April 2, and ends Tuesday, Oct. 29. The format is organized for golfers of all ages, abilities and handicaps, with easy weekly online signup, play in the morning or afternoon, shotgun start at the Bella Vista course of the week, spring and fall banquets and players cup competition. Additional information is available on the website. Member signup is required and may be completed by using the membership signup option located on the website.
