Now through mid-October

s The third annual Butter Braid pastries are now being sold by the PEO Chapter BR. Proceeds of the sale will make a difference in women's lives through P.E.O.'s philanthropic projects that provide higher education assistance. The fruit or cream cheese-filled pastry loaves serve 10, are delivered frozen, thaw overnight, and bake 20 minutes in the morning for a delicious treat. Sept. 13-15

s A Watercolor Workshop will be conducted by Michael Holter, a signature member of the National Watercolor Society, the American Impressionist Society, the Transparent Watercolor Society and many more. His work has been in numerous exhibitions and won many awards. This workshop is suitable for advanced or beginner artists and will be held from Thursday, Sept. 13, through Saturday, Sept. 15, at the Bella Vista Assembly of God Church, located at 1771 Forest Hills Blvd. in Bella Vista. Sept. 17

Sept. 20-22

s The Annual Indoor Yard and Bake Sale is presented by the Disciples Women of Highland Christian Church at 1500 Forest Hill Blvd. in Bella Vista beginning Thursday, Sept. 20 and running through noon Saturday, Sept. 21. 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. both Thursday and Friday; 7 a.m. to noon on Saturday. Items will be in good to excellent condition and will be priced to sell. There will be household items, decorating items, linens, glassware, kitchen items, games, tools, gardening items, toys, books, music, crafts, seasonal, holiday items, men's and women's accessories, children's items and much more. Homemade baked goods daily.

Sept. 24

Sept. 27

s The Bella Vista Senior Expo, hosted by Village House, will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 27. There are sponsorship and booth opportunities. Please contact Sata at 479-855-4449.

Sept. 28

s Game Day planned by the P.E.O Chapter CD is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28, to be held at the United Methodist Church, 371 Glasgow Road in Bella Vista. The P.E.O. uses its fundraising dollars to provide scholarships to women. Participants are welcome to play the game of choice. The cost is $60 per table or $15 per person, which includes lunch catered by Spring Street Grill, snacks and desserts. There will also be a raffle for gift certificates and handcrafted items. Registration forms are available at City Hall, 101 Town Center, Bella Vista. Registration deadline is Sept. 21. Sept. 28-30

s The third annual Kingsdale Tennis Doubles and Mixed Doubles Tournament will be held Friday through Sunday, Sept. 28-30. The tournament includes the following divisions: Ladies Doubles (2.0 through Open), Men's Doubles (2.5 through Open), and Mixed Doubles (5.0 through Open). Entry per team is $60; $30 per person and a second entry event $50; $25 per person. s Coffee and Questions -- Tom Judson will host an informative Q&A session at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, at the Bella Vista Country Club in the Board Room. He will be joined by Keith Ihms and Phillip Wright, golf operation and maintenance directors.

Oct. 13

s The second annual Vintage Flea Market will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at Blowing Springs Park. The vintage shopping craze will include live music, food trucks, a vintage car and RV show, and a kid's fun zone. Admission is free. F0r vendors who specialize in vintage furniture, junk, upcycled materials or are an artisan food vendor, spots are still available. 10-foot by 10-foot spaces are $50; 10-foot by 20-foot spaces are $90; and 20-foot by 20-foot spaces are $120. Oct. 25

s Bella Vista Historical Museum will host it's annual Open House Thursday, Oct. 25. The hours will be 4 to 7 p.m., with door prizes and refreshments to go along with the museum tour of 100-plus years of Bella Vista history.
