Kassidy Ray is this year's Bella Vista Fourth of July Patriot Parade Queen. Kassidy is 16 years old and will be a sophomore at Gravette High School next year. She is a soloist for the Village Baptist Church and sings with the church choir at Concordia Retirement Center.
She is also a member of the Oak Grove Riding Club. She loves barrel racing and pole bending. After graduation from college, she plans to become a veterinarian.
She is the daughter of Kristen and Daymon Fields and Josh and Trish Blount. She has lived in Bella Vista for the past 14 years.
The Bella Vista Patriots host the parade to celebrate Independence Day and honor past and present military personnel. The United Lutheran Church Band begins playing at 9 a.m. Wednesday, July 4. The pre-parade entertainment starts at 9:30 and the parade march kicks off at 10 a.m. The parade is held in the Sugar Creek Shopping Mall.
