I write today to apologize to my friends for my letters to the editor that were small-minded, gloomy, tired and whiny and have no vision in regard to how I feel about what is going on financially by the POA management here in Bella Vista. I never thought they were that way until I read the paper the other day.

I thought my letters were pretty good because quite a few people in town said they were. Maybe they are small-minded too. I guess neither I nor they have vision either.

I just always felt that it was good financial practice to not spend our money until we knew how much we could afford and not to spend all our rainy-day dollars and then ask the residents to fork up more. I guess I always had the idea one should live within his means, as I have always done.

I'm so glad the gentleman in the article corrected my thinking. I guess I would just have gone along being a whiner and small minded with no vision for the future for the rest of my life. Thanks for enlightening me.
