Mayor seat, three council seats up for election

Up for election in Bella Vista this year are the mayor's post, as well as three city council positions.

City council positions 2 in Wards 1, 2 and 3 are up for election.

The mayor and council members serve a four-year term.

The city clerk position is also up for election and the current city clerk, Wayne Jertson, is running unopposed for a four-year term.

The Bella Vista Public Library will host a candidate forum Monday, Oct. 29 at 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
