In reference to Letter titled Should I retire in Bella Vista?
We appreciated the letter in the Weekly Vista on Oct. 3 entitled "Should I retire in Bella Vista?" by John Walters. I found it interesting that someone from another state is already critical of our Bella Vista. This is before he moves here or even owns any property.
He is critical of the additional bike trails that are planned for Bella Vista and talks about the need for other activities that "more of the people can use." It would be helpful if he really studied the activities already offered here before he criticizes us for the "lack of all-around recreational activities for families with small children and retirees."
How about three workout facilities, four pools, a doggie park, Tanyard Creek Trail, multiple walking trails, shooting range, swimming beach, multiple kids' parks, tennis courts, pickleball courts and on and on.
We hope he follows through and decides to move to Bella Vista. Perhaps he will then realize all that Bella Vista has to offer.
