Billy Joe Brannon

Billy Joe Brannon, 63, of Prairie Grove, Ark., died May 9, 2018, in Bella Vista, Ark.

He was born Jan. 28, 1955, to Florene Wilkins and Tom Brannon. He enjoyed drag racing, working on cars, camping and spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father; son, Michael Brannon; and daughters, Nikki Davis and Tiffany Crawford.

Survivors include his wife, Sonja Brannon; mother, Florene Wilkins; sons, Tommy Brannon and Chris Davis; daughter, Jennifer Kappen (Eric), of Bella Vista; brothers, Tim Brannon (Vickie) and Jon Brannon (Kristi); and seven grandchildren.

Charles Lloyd Doane

Charles Lloyd Doane, 74, died Saturday, May 5, 2018, in Bentonville, Ark..

He was born Feb. 22, 1944, in Marshalltown, Iowa, to Clarence and Clara (Mallatt) Doane. He graduated from Marshalltown High School in 1962 and joined the U.S. Air Force, serving four years. In June of 1964 he married Carmen. He joined the Marshalltown Police Department where he continued to serve his community for 30 years until retiring at the rank of Assistant Chief of Police. He enjoyed traveling, camping, and large cookouts with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Jack Doane; and a sister, Joanne Bentley.

Survivors include his wife, Carmen Doane of Bentonville; sons, Robert Doane of Bella Vista, Ark., and Andrew Doane of Aldie, Va.; and three grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at Highland Christian Church in Bella Vista at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2018.

Rebecca Elaine Linn

Rebecca Elaine Linn, of Bella Vista, Ark., died May 6, 2018, at Circle of Life Hospice House.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Linn; son, Eric Linn and wife Anna of Bella Vista; daughter, Miranda Brooks and husband Steven of Bella Vista; three brothers; and three grandchildren.

Dwayne Moline

Dwayne Moline, 88, of Rogers, Arkansas, went home to be with his Lord, Sunday, May 6, 2018. He was born January 7, 1930, in Paxton, Illinois, to Oscar and Elsie Moline.

Following graduation from high school, he proudly served in the United States Army for two years. After being honorably discharged, he married LaVonne Carlson in 1954.

Dwayne retired in 1993 after being in sales for 25 years.

Survivors include his wife of almost 64 years, LaVonne; sons, Dale, Larry and James; daughter, Dawn Miller; 14 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jerry and Elaine Carlson; two nieces, Audrey O'Neil, Jody O'Doherty; two nephews, Terry Fleming, Todd Carlson; and many close relatives and friends.

Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 12, 2018, at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Chapel in Rogers with the Rev. Ben Rowell officiating. Burial followed at Bentonville Cemetery with military honors provided by the U.S. Army Military Honor Guard.

Visitation was held from 9:30 a.m. until service time.

Memorials may be made in memory of Dwayne Moline to the Northwest Arkansas Gideon's International.

Ann Thiele

Ann Thiele (Caspermeyer), 50, of Bella Vista, Ark., died May 7, 2018, due to a canoeing accident.

She was born in Peoria, Ill., on Oct. 26, 1967. She was a long-time resident of Bentonville, Ark., and moved to Bella Vista in 2013. Her parents, Charles and Barbara Caspermeyer, retired to Bella Vista and encouraged her to move to the area. She was an employee of Sara Lee and Hormel Foods.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Galen Thiele; sons, Joseph Thiele of Las Vegas, Nev.; Benjamin Thiele of Lowell, Ark.; daughter, Laura and Paxton Droke of Fayetteville, Ark.; and brother, Richard (Dawn) Caspermeyer of Overland Park, Kan.

Visitation was held at Bella Vista Funeral Home from 5 to 6 p.m. Friday, May 11, 2018, with a Rosary by St. Bernard's Catholic Church at 6 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection was at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 12, 2018, at St. Bernard's Catholic Church.
