BELLA VISTA -- The Bella Vista Farmers Market is nearing the start of its third year and going strong. Sunday, April 15, kicks off the 2018 market season at 9 a.m.

This year the market will be in a new location at Sugar Creek Center parking lot, just north of U.S. 71 and Mercy Way.

"We are excited to bring the market to a new spot, which will be highly visible and easy for shoppers to get in and out," market coordinator Samantha Mosher said.

The Bella Vista Farmers Market is one of few markets in the Northwest Arkansas area that operates on Sunday. The outdoor market promotes health and wellness to the community while supporting local farmers, crafters and small businesses.

The city is accepting applications for vendors, nonprofit groups, crafters, musicians and entertainers. To apply, visit the city's website at www.bellavistaar.gov/farmers-marketand complete the online application. Applicants will be contacted by the market coordinator.
