Rally in Pink Golf Tournament

This tournament is a four-person scramble to be held at the Bella Vista Country Club and Kingswood on Tuesday, June 19, and is open to members and nonmembers. The event will consist of three separate divisions, including women, men and mixed. Tees will be men: white tees -- 74 or younger; red tees -- 75-plus; women: red tees -- 74 or younger; gold tees -- 75-plus. Mulligans can be purchased before play begins at two for $10 (cash or check only, with a limit of two per person). Prizes will be awarded in all divisions, as well as CTP for men and women. All prizes will be paid out in the form of golf shop gift certificates.

The schedule will be: 7 a.m. -- coffee and donuts; 8 a.m. -- shotgun start with awards and lunch at Riordan catered by BV Bar and Grill. Raffles and 50/50 will be sold throughout the day (cash or check only). Entry fee is $200 per team or $50 per player plus applicable green and cart fees. Fee includes prizes and lunch after play. Proceeds will benefit Mercy Breast Center, Hope Cancer Resources and Washington Regional Cancer Support Home.

Registration and cancellation deadline is 5 p.m. Thursday, June 14. There is a $10 late registration fee.

Couples 9 and Dine Golf Tournament

This event is for members only and held Friday, June 22, at the Bella Vista Country Club. The tournament will consist of a two-person scramble. Both team members will hit their designated tee on each hole. The team will select the preferred tee shot with both members playing from this position for their second shot. This procedure will continue until the ball is holed out. Each team member must contribute three drives during the round.

The schedule will begin with a 4:30 p.m. shotgun start and dinner to follow at the BV Bar and Grill, prepared by Chef Jerry James. Awards will be presented at dinner. Men will utilize white tees -- 74 or younger and red tees -- 75 and older; women will use red tees -- 74 or younger and gold tees -- 75 and older. Team handicap is calculated by adding together 35 percent of "A" players and 15 percent of "B" players course handicaps. Mulligans can be purchased at $5 each, with a one per player limit (cash or check only, please). Entry fee is $30 per player plus applicable green and cart fees. Entry fee includes prizes and dinner after play. Prizes will be gross and net awards in the form of gift certificates.

Fourth of July Couples Scramble

A four-person couple (two men and two women) scramble tournament is being hosted by Friends of the Highlands at the Highlands Golf Course Wednesday, July 4, with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. Participants must be checked in by 8:30 a.m. Dinner and awards will be at approximately 2 p.m. inside the Highlands clubhouse, with great door prizes. Soft drinks and water will be provided on the course.

Women will play from the red tees; men 75-plus may also play from the red tees. All others will play from the white tees. Tournament will be flighted after play. This tournament is a four-person scramble. Individual couples can submit their information to be paired with another couple. There is an automatic two-putt rule from the green only. There will be flight prizes and closest-to-the-pin contests. Mulligans are $1 each (maximum two per person). There is a special hole-in-one contest, a $250 cash prize ($5 per couple). Pro-drive is available at $5 per couple. Cancellation must be made by Wednesday, June 27, in order to receive a full refund. Entry fee is $65 per couple, plus applicable green and cart fees. Entry fee includes prizes and dinner after play. In case of inclement weather, dinner will still be served and prizes awarded. 'Pars for Paws -- The Pawsible Dream'

Help BVAS help animals in need and swing with the big dogs. Registration begins at 7 a.m. with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. sharp, Saturday, July 21, at the Kingswood Golf Course in Bella Vista. Women's 5-Hole Golf

The Women's 5-Hole Golf Association welcomes new members throughout the season, from April 22through Oct. 29. Play is at the Metfield Brittany Golf Course at 9 a.m. on Monday mornings. In July and August, play begins at 7:30 a.m. This is a casual fun group with no handicap, in which players score the first five holes and usually play a scramble the last four. Women's 9-Hole Golf Association

The Bella Vista Women's 9-Hole Golf Association welcomes new members throughout the 2018 golf season. Golf rounds are played on Monday mornings from April 2 through Oct. 22 on Kingswood and Berksdale golf courses. Members sign up by Monday night to play the following Monday with four flights set by members' handicaps. Membership dues are $30 plus a $6 handicap fee (if not paid through another group) and an optional $2 for the hole-in-one prize. Applications are available at all pro shops and on the www.BV9WGA.com website.

Men's 9-Hole Golf Association

The Bella Vista Men's Nine Hole Golf Association welcomes new members throughout the 2018 golf season. Golf play is April through October on Wednesday mornings, with reserved tee times and four handicapped flights. Banquets are held in the spring and fall. The association offers weekly hole and flight prizes and supports local charities. Applications for this membership are available in pro shops and online at the BVPOA website www.sites.google.com/bv9holemga/home.

Oldes 9-Hole Golf Group

The Oldes Golf Group is seeking new members for the 2018 season. The Oldes play on Tuesday mornings with tee times and play at all of the Bella Vista courses. Most of the weekly golf events are at Berksdale and Kingswood. Texas Scramble is played most often to make the games fair for all participants. 44 Couples 18-Hole Golf Club

The 44 Club league is accepting applications for new members to the 2018 season. The 44 Couples Golf Club's focus is to make golf enjoyable and entertaining. The league plays once a month on Saturday at a variety of golf courses in Bella Vista. The league plays handicapped events with four flights. After golf, the players meet for a lunch or dinner to share experiences and collect prizes. All golfers are welcome.
