Bella Vista Community Church

There is a Newcomers' Orientation at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 17 in the parlor for anyone interested in learning more about the Community Church.

Bella Vista Men for Christ will host Ken Hatfield, former University of Arkansas head football coach, speaking about "Faith, Football and Foundation" at 9 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, in McKay Hall. Men and women of the community are invited. Call the church office for reservations.

Bella Vista Lutheran Church

The Shepherd's Food Pantry is open every Friday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Donations can be left in a container in the Church Narthex.

Forest Hills Church (American Baptist Congregation)

Forest Hills Church welcomes people of all faiths to worship. Resident guest pastor, Mark Kirby, will deliver the sermon, "But Wait.....There's More," from Matthew 4:18-22, on Sunday morning at 10:45 a.m.

Highland Christian Church

The community is invited to join the choir for practice at 4 p.m. each Wednesday.

The community is invited to the Disciple Women Fellowship at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 13. The lesson theme is "Faith the Size of a Mustard Seed," read by Mary Jane Kuhlman.

Presbyterian Church of Bella Vista

The Men's Fellowship group is sponsoring a blood drive in Fellowship Hall from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 15. The community is encouraged to give blood because a gift of blood may save a life. Contact the church for additional information, 479-855-2390.

St. Bernard Catholic Church

St. Bernard's welcomes visitors to celebrate the liturgy. The rosary is said at 4:25 p.m. before Saturday night Mass and at 8:25 a.m. before Sunday morning Mass.

The Unitarian Universalists of Benton County

Jan. 14 offers an opportunity to discuss UU minister Thom Belote's talk entitled "Disobeying Herod." A Chalica candle representing the Unitarian Universalist seventh principle, respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part, will be lit.

United Lutheran Church

Breakfast Club at 8 a.m. Monday, Jan. 15, is a community opportunity to share breakfast and fellowship while taking in a guest speaker. Devotion will be given by Tom Anderson on the importance of listening. To RSVP, call 479-855-1325.

Unity Church of the Ozarks

Standing in Peace follows the 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Jan 14, service, "Going to the Mountaintop," presented by Rev. Elise Cowan. There will be a stand-in prayer for peace at 12 p.m. to hold the vision to assist in manifesting peace for the world.

Village Bible Church

Tuesday, Jan. 16, the Ladies' Bible Study on Philippians led by Joanne Morris will be held at 9 a.m. Women from the community are welcome to attend and a free study guide is provided. Bring a Bible (translation -- not a paraphrase) and a notebook.

Wednesday, Jan. 10, the Oasis Food Pantry will be open from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. This ministry is available to anyone in the area who needs help with groceries and would appreciate the compassion and encouragement of friendly volunteers.

The Village Bible Church would like to remind the public that the 5:30 p.m. Wednesday potluck fellowship meals will be held only once monthly -- the second Wednesday of the month -- through February 2018.
