Concrete has started to appear for what will become a 1,000-foot, wheelchair accessible sidewalk next to the Veterans Wall of Honor. Outgoing veterans council president Gary Aaron said that the walkway, dubbed the Walk of Honor, will feature six benches. Funding for the project was provided by Lowe's, Cooper Communities and the POA.
