June 7-28, the Rev. Cowan will be presenting the Sunday school class "How to Pray," based on Unity's affirmative prayer practice.

New Wine Ministry

Sunday school is available for children with a Unitarian Universalist adaptation of Jerome Berryman's book, "Spirit Play" as the primary resource. Sunday school is based on the Montessori approach. As in Montessori, the key elements are the classroom environment and the teachers. These elements free the children to work at their own pace on their own activities after an initial lesson.

Village Bible Church
Wednesday, May 17, the Oasis Food Pantry will be open from 10 a.m. to noon. This ministry is available to anyone in the area who needs help with groceries and would appreciate the compassion and encouragement of friendly volunteers. A potluck fellowship dinner begins at 5:30 p.m. The community is always welcome. At 6:30 p.m. there will be singing, devotions and prayer in the Worship Center.
