Bella Vista will have its fireworks show at the Loch Lomond dam the evening of July 3.
Communications manager Cassi Lapp said that the show will start when it's dark enough, which is typically around 9 to 9:30 p.m.

By city ordinance, people can shoot fireworks from 6 p.m. to midnight July 3-5 on private property with the owner’s consent. Nothing attached to a stick — bottle rockets, for example — is permitted.
By state law, fireworks may be sold — with appropriate city approval — anytime from June 20 through July 11.

"If you want a good spot," she said, "you've got to get there early."
The fireworks, she said, will be set off by Fire Department staff, who are licensed to handle it. They put in a great deal of work to make the show happen, she said.
For those wanting to set off fireworks at home, regulations can be found elsewhere on this page. The city has permitted a fireworks stand next to Wishing Springs Gallery, near the intersection of U.S. Highway 71 and Benton County Road 40.
