Kansas Sunflower Club

The Kansas Sunflower Club will meet Monday, July 24, at 11 a.m., at the Highland Christian Church at 1500 Forest Hills Blvd.

This month the club will play Bingo and each one is asked to bring one bingo prize. There will be $3 pizza and drinks (coffee or pop) with each one bringing a potluck salad, vegetable, or dessert to share. A new 2017 Kansas Club directory will be available.

All former Kansas residents are welcome to attend our Kansas Sunflower meeting the fourth Monday of each month. There are no dues.

Ozark Hill Hikers

The Ozark Hill Hikers, affiliated with the American Volkssport Association invite all interested walkers to join in a 5K or 10K walk in Siloam Springs on Wednesday, July 26. Registration is at 8 a.m. at Phillips 66, 1295 N. Mt. Olive St., Siloam Springs, AR 72761.

Travel Club

The Bella Vista Travel Club will have a meeting Monday, July 31, at 6 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 20 Boyce Drive, Bella Vista. Members will be going to the Gateway Arch in St. Louis, the Ark Encounter in Williamstown, Ky., and the Creation Museum in Petersburg, Ky., on Oct. 23-Oct. 27. This will be a 5-day, 4-night bus trip. The Ark Encounter will have two guest speakers, Don Eckert and Tony Goyko, who will present information on what visitors can expect to see. The imphasis will be the reality of the global flood and the personal implication of the flood with pictures of both the Ark and Creation Museum.

Other trips on the caleder are: a seven-day Alaskan cruise and a Nova Scotia tour.

This is a group of people that like to travel and have a good time. It is open to everyone that would like to participate. Refreshments will be served.

Kingsdale Squares

The Kingsdale Squares will dance 7 p.m. on Monday, July 24, at Riordan Hall in Bella Vista. Johhny Eubanks will be calling. There will be a mainstream workshop at 6:30 p.m. prior to the dance.

Writers and Poets Club

Village Lake Writers and Poets' Writers Club meet at 11 a.m. every second Wednesday of the month at the Artist Retreat Center, 13467 Lookout Drive, Bella Vista. Guests are welcome.

Anytime Stitchers

Bella Vista Anytime Stitchers will meet Wednesday, July 19, from 10 a.m. to noon. The Anytime Stitchers meet the third Wednesday of every month except November and December. The club includes new and experienced quilters who meet to share techniques, project ideas, and make quilts for charities. All are welcome.

This month Marilyn Bullock will be leading the meeting. There will be a show-and-tell portion of the meeting to show personal projects completed.

The group gathers at the First United Methodist Church, 20 Boyce Drive, Bella Vista (across Tanyard Creek), Room 23 (downstairs, southwest side).

NWA Coin Club

The Northwest Arkansas Coin Club will hold its second annual coin show Friday, July 21, through Sunday, July 23, in the Pinnacle Ballroom at the John Q. Hammons Center. Hours are Friday, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free and the public is invited to attend.

Sunrise Rotary Club

The Bella Vista Sunrise Rotary Club has a breakfast meeting every Wednesday at 7 a.m. in Concordia's Main Building, 1 Concordia Drive, Bella Vista. The speaker for July 26 is Dr. Mandy Barrett for Bouncy Bands at Gravette Upper Elementary School. Guests are welcome to attend.

Fly-Tyers Club

The Bella Vista Fly-Tyers Club is a fishing, conservation, and service club consisting of approximately 150 members. The club also promotes lake conservation, recreational activities, and conducts service projects throughout northwest Arkansas.

The club meets every Thursday at Riordan Hall in Bella Vista beginning at 9 a.m. for a social hour followed by a meeting from 10 to 11 a.m.

Pride of the Ozarks Barbershop Chorus

Pride of the Ozarks Chorus will meet at 7 p.m. Thursdays at Arkansas Arts Academy High School, 506 W. Poplar St., Rogers. Pride of the Ozarks is a member of the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America, also known as the Barbershop Harmony Society. Pride of the Ozarks is an all-male a capella singing organization.

Women's Chorus

Love to sing? Bella Vista Women's Chorus invites singers from the area to join them. All are welcome with no tryouts or experience needed. The chorus performs classical, pop, folk and show tunes. Rehearsals are at 12:45 p.m. Mondays in the music room of Bella Vista First United Methodist Church. The chorus is available to sing at club meetings and events.

Men's Chorus

Is the shower the only venue for your singing talent? Join the Bella Vista Men's Chorus. The club meets at 6:30 p.m. each Monday in the choir room at First Methodist Church on Boyce Drive.

Perfect Harmony

Perfect Harmony Women's Barbershop Chorus meets from 4 to 5:30 p.m. every Monday in the choir room of the United Lutheran Church in Bella Vista. No previous experience or tryouts are required. Join this chorus for a fun and rewarding genre of singing.
