9:51 a.m. Firefighters handled a structure fire on Woodlawn Avenue.

Tuesday, Nov. 28

7:40 p.m. Police helped a lost driver from out of town whose GPS took him to the intersection of Louisiana Mountain Drive and Lookout Drive rather than his destination.

8:14 p.m. Police received a report of a Jeep driving roughly 100 miles per hour down U.S. Highway 71.

Wednesday, Nov. 29

1:32 a.m. Police arrested Megan Lockwood, 22, and charged her with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop near the intersection of U.S. Highway 71 and Wellington Road.

9:33 a.m. Two cash registers were missing from Cunningham Corner.

2:40 p.m. A tent and a car were spotted on Rochester Drive.

11:47 p.m. Police arrested Justin Jones, 30, in connection with a parole-related warrant during a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 71

Thursday, Nov. 30

11:37 a.m. A silver car was reportedly speeding and swerving on U.S. Highway 71.

7:10 p.m. Police arrested Monica Etter, 73, and charged her with driving while intoxicated and refusing to sign during a traffic stop near the intersection of Sherlock Drive and Powell Circle.

Friday, Dec. 1

2:01 Police received a report of a stolen gray 2001 Dodge Dakota.

11:11 a.m. Firefighters handled a grass fire near Kirkcaldy Drive.

1:44 p.m. Police received a walk-in report that someone had thrown a pregnant cat out of their vehicle window. The reporting party told police that they picked up the cat and the animal shelter told them to report it to police.

2:23 p.m. Police received a walk-in with a possibly-fake $5. The bill was determined to be legitimate despite its suspiciously good condition.

Saturday, Dec. 2

11:47 a.m. A dachshund was reportedly under a car and causing traffic to back up on U.S. Highway 71.

2:13 p.m. A white pickup was reportedly involved in a hit and run accident at the Goodwill store.

8:37 p.m. Firefighters dealt with a brush fire near the intersection of Hampstead Road and Wellington Road.

Sunday, Dec. 3

3:11 a.m. Firefighters responded to a brush fire in the ravine between Westmoreland Drive and Elsworth Lane.

11:24 a.m. Police checked on a residential intrusion alarm at Grier Drive after a motion sensor was tripped. Police spotted dogs running around in the house, which may have tripped the alarm.

8:50 p.m. Police arrested Richard Wilson, 45, and charged him with possession of a Schedule 1 and Schedule 6 controlled substance and driving without a license during a traffic stop near the intersection of U.S. Highway 71 and Trafalgar Road.
