Margaret Mary Church

Margaret Mary "Peg" Church, 93, of Lenexa, Kan., died after a long illness surrounded by her family on Monday, July 31, 2017.

She was born March 21, 1924, in Weehawken, N.J., to Frank and Margaret Claire Healy Neuwirth.

She spent many years living in the Bella Vista area. She enjoyed spending her time golfing, playing cards and crocheting.

She was preceded in death her husband, the father of her two children, John William Storms; her second husband, James Wesley Church; an infant grandson, John William Storms II; two brothers; and a sister.

Survivors include her son, James M. Storms and his wife, LaNita of Olathe, Kan.; a daughter, Katie A. Doughtery and her husband Steve of Cartersville, Ga.; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She will be cremated.

A memorial prayer service was noon Friday, Aug. 4, 2017, at the McGilley & Frye Funeral Home, 105 E. Loula St., Olathe, Kan. Inurnment is in Leavenworth National Cemetery in Leavenworth, Kan.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Deaf Cultural Center, 455 E. Park St., Olathe, KS 66061.

Ralph James Lemmeyer

Ralph James Lemmeyer, 67, of Bella Vista, Ark., died after a struggle with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma on Thursday, July 13, 2017, in Bentonville, Ark. He was born Oct. 9, 1949, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Earl and Christine Lemmeyer.

In 1992, he married Carla Grimes. He was a Navy radioman and served in Vietnam.

He is survived by his wife, Carla Grimes of Bella Vista; four children, Paul, Penny, Timothy, and Tracey; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Aug. 11, 2017, at Bella Vista Funeral Home.

Memorial donations may be made in his name to Circle of Life Hospice Legacy Village, 1201 N.E. Legacy Parkway, Bentonville, AR 72712.

Bob Marshall

Robert J. "Bob" Marshall, 91, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Sunday, July 30, 2017, at home. He was born Aug. 9, 1925, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Dorothy and Donald Marshall.

He graduated from Cornell University with a degree in mechanical engineering. He married Peg Davis, his wife of 68 years. Shortly after, the couple moved to California where he began his career in machinery sales with Gardner Denver Co. During his 21 years with Gardner Denver the couple lived in Los Angeles, Dallas, Quincy, Ill., and Kansas City.

After moving to Kansas City, he joined Bublitz Machinery Co. and continued to live and work in Kansas City for 20 years, after which they moved to Reno, Nev., and later Denver, opening new operations.

He and Peg retired to live near Beaver Lake in 1987, where he indulged in his favorite activities on and off the water, finding his home to be a wonderful place to engage with his family. In 2001 they moved to Bella Vista to enjoy an easier lifestyle, where he was able to travel and see his daughters and their families for more adventures.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Marshall and Yale Marshall.

He is survived by his wife, Peg Marshall; a daughter, Pat Bryant and her husband Bruce; a grandson, Kevin; a great-granddaughter, Phoebe; daughter, Judy Williamson and husband Phil; two grandsons , Travis and wife Amy; and Jess and wife Brianne; a great-grandson, Wyatt; and a daughter, Nancy Connolly and husband Tim.

A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 3, 2017, at the Bella Vista Community Church, 75 E. Lancashire Blvd., Bella Vista, AR 72714.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Circle of Life Hospice Legacy Village, 1201 N.E. Legacy Parkway, Bentonville, AR 72712, or to the Bella Vista Community Church Youth Program.
