The Kingsdale Squares will dance at 7 p.m., Monday, Aug. 7, at Riordan Hall in Bella Vista. Bob Loyd will be calling. There will be a mainstream workshop at 6:30 p.m. prior to the dance.

Writers and Poets' Writers Club
Village Lake Writers and Poets' Writers Club meets at 11 a.m. every second Wednesday of the month (next meeting is Aug. 8) at the Artist Retreat Center, 13467 Lookout Drive, Bella Vista. Guests are welcome.

Nebraska Club
The Nebraska Club will hold its summer barbecue on Saturday, Aug. 12, at the Loch Lomond Pavilion. This event is open to anyone who has lived in Nebraska. The barbecue will begin with a social hour at 5 p.m. followed by dinner at 6 p.m. The cost is $11 per person. Pride of the Ozarks Barbershop Chorus
Pride of the Ozarks Chorus will meet at 7 p.m. Thursdays at Arkansas Arts Academy High School, 506 W. Poplar St., Rogers. Pride of the Ozarks is a member of the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America, also known as the Barbershop Harmony Society. Pride of the Ozarks is an all-male a Capella singing organization.

Fly-Tyers Club
The Bella Vista Fly-Tyers Club is a fishing, conservation and service club consisting of approximately 150 members. The club also promotes lake conservation, recreational activities and conducts service projects throughout northwest Arkansas.
The club meets every Thursday at Riordan Hall in Bella Vista, beginning at 9 a.m. for a social hour, followed by a meeting from 10 to 11 a.m.
Women's Chorus
Love to sing? Bella Vista Women's Chorus invites singers from the area to join them. All are welcome with no tryouts or experience needed. The chorus performs classical, pop, folk and show tunes. Rehearsals are at 12:45 p.m. Mondays in the music room of Bella Vista First United Methodist Church. The chorus is available to sing at club meetings and events.
