The Townhouse Association Board discussed adding a roof to a patio on Tanyard Drive and renting out the association's meeting room.

The roof on the patio, general manager David Whittlesey said, was standard business.

"They built a patio, so they're just going to put a roof on it," he said.

The roof, which was the sole piece of business on the agenda, was approved unanimously.

Beyond that, the board looked at renting -- or possibly donating -- their current meeting space.

Board member Steve Larsen said he has met people looking for places to play cards, and the space at the association's headquarters may be ideal for them.

Whittlesey said that, if the space was simply donated, there would need to be a townhouse owner in the group.

During the General Manager's report, Whittlesey said that rainy early spring weather has shifted some of the association's maintenance priorities. Bush and shrub trimming will start as soon as leaves are cleaned up.

The association also sold a pickup truck, he said, for $600.

"Now we're down to one truck we're trying to sell," he said.
