Kingsdale Squares

The Kingsdale Squares will dance at 7 p.m. at Riordan Hall on Monday, Sept. 19. Bob Lloyd will be the caller. There will be a plus workshop at 6:30 p.m. prior to the dance. All square dancers are invited to join in.

Bella Vista Needlework Club

The Bella Vista Needlework Club meets at 10 a.m. every Monday at Riordan Hall. The group includes those who knit, crochet, cross-stitch, weave, quilt or do various kinds of needlework. There is plenty of room, large tables and light. For those without a POA photo ID card, they will need to pay $2.25 at the desk. The annual group fee is $2. The first Monday of each month the club has a meeting and refreshments.

Nyte Tyme Quilters

Bella Vista Nyte Tyme Quilters will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 19. The Nyte Tyme Quilters usually meet the third Monday of every month except November and December. The group has new and experienced quilters who meet to share techniques and project ideas. All are welcome. This month's programs are being lead by Margo Webb and Marilyn Bullock. The group has a "Show and Tell" portion of the meeting to show personal projects completed.

The group gathers at the United Lutheran Church on the corner of Cooper Road and Arkansas Highway 279 (Forest Hills Boulevard).

Hill 'N Dale Hiking Club

The Hill 'N Dale Hiking Club of Bella Vista will hike the trails at Lake Fayetteville on Sept. 21. This will be 3 to 5 miles of easy hiking. Members will meet at 8:30 a.m. at the upper level parking lot at Harps in Bella Vista and drive to Veteran's Memorial Park at Lake Fayetteville to start the hike. Non-members are invited.

Bella Vista Bike Club

The Bella Vista Bike Club is an informal group of cyclists who enjoy riding together. The only rule is that helmets are required on all rides. Club members come in a wide variety of ages and skill levels. The monthly ride calendar can be found at bellavistabikeclub.com. The bike club is active year 'round and may be addictive and beneficial to your health.

Granny's Quilts of Love

To date, Granny's members have made and donated 22,532 quilts, 6,286 hats and 6,300 pillows to Arkansas Children's Hospital.

The dinner and auction held Aug. 27 was a big success. The club appreciates the community of Pea Ridge and surrounding areas for their loyal support over the years. To celebrate the many hours of volunteer service to Granny's Quilts there will be a special luncheon for the ladies at the next meeting. Be sure to bring finished quilts, and there will be quilt kits to take home. The next meeting will be at 10:30 a.m.Tuesday, Sept. 20, at the Mount Vernon Presbyterian Church, 1300 N. Davis St., Pea Ridge. Note the time change of the meeting for the luncheon.

Bella Vista Women's Chorus

Do you love to sing? Bella Vista Women's Chorus invites singers from the area to join them. All are welcome with no tryouts or experience needed. Directed by Dr. Larry Zehring, BVWC performs classical, pop, folk and show tunes for local clubs and events. Rehearsals are at 12:45 p.m. on Mondays in the music room of the Bella Vista First United Methodist Church. The chorus is available to sing for clubs and organizations.

Ozark Pastel Society

The Ozark Pastel Society will have a membership meeting at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, at the Rogers Public Library, 711 S. Dixieland Road in Rogers. The meeting will include a pastel painting demonstration by artist Judy Howard and a pastel organizational lesson by artist Charles Peer. The meeting is open to members and anyone wishing to learn more or that is interested in the pastel medium.

Sophisticated Ladies

Sophisticated Ladies beginner tap dance class started at 4:15 p.m. Monday, Sept. 12, and will run for 10 weeks. Tap class for those who know basic tap steps will be at 9 a.m. on Monday and Wednesday. All classes are held at Riordan Hall.

The Iota Alpha chapter will begin the new theme year, "We Put Our Hearts into It," on Sept. 14. The sorority will meet at Jan Thurman's home at 9:30 a.m. Mary Frizzel will be the co-hostess. Members will bring baked goods or snacks to the meeting to be delivered to the Bella Vista police to show our support and appreciation for the job they do. This month's social will be a visit to Wishing Spring Gallery followed by lunch.

Ladies Day Out

Join the Ladies Day Out at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 20, as they carpool to Napoli's Restaurant in Rogers. They will meet on the west side of Goodwill, Bella Vista Town Center.

St. Bernard Pinochle Club

Attention all Pinochle players. St. Bernard Pinochle Club will meet the second Monday of every month from September through May at 6 p.m. at the Parish Hall. Play begins at 6:30 or as soon as everyone is gathered. The entry fee is $1 per time and 4-5 places plus low-man go home with winnings. Bring a snack to pass and sign up with a partner or come alone. Both are welcome. St. Bernard Parish Hall is at 1 St. Bernard Lane. Turn off Arkansas 340 about three-quarters of a mile east of Forest Hills Blvd. (Arkansas Highway 279).

Perfect Harmony Women's Barbershop Chorus

Perfect Harmony Women's Barbershop Chorus meets at 7 p.m. every Monday in the choir room of the United Lutheran Church of Bella Vista. No previous experience or try outs are required. If you love to sing, come join this chorus for a fun and rewarding genre of singing.

Woodcarvers Club

The Woodcarvers Club now has a booth at the Bella Vista Farmers Market on Mercy Drive in the West parking lot on Sundays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Stop by and check out the carvings. The Bella Vista Woodcarvers Club meets Thursdays from 1 to 3 p.m. at Riordan Hall. Guests are welcome, and new members are accepted for a nominal yearly fee. Bella Vista has some very talented carvers and wood burners willing to teach anyone the art of carving or wood burning. The group is a nonprofit organization.

Northwest Arkansas Coin Club

The Northwest Arkansas Coin Club meets from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. the third Tuesday of each month at the Embassy Suites hotel at exit 83 off I-49 in Rogers. It is seeking collectors of coins and currency to join for fun and entertainment each month.

Village Art Club

The Village Art Club meets at 1 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month at the Wishing Spring Gallery on McNelly Road. Each month one of the exhibitors from the Gallery discusses the process and product they show and sell at the Wishing Spring Gallery, which is sponsored by the Art Club.

Each fall the VAC also sponsors the Bella Vista Arts and Crafts Festival, and the proceeds go to fund art scholarships and grants at local elementary schools to further Arts and Education. The meeting is open to the public and information regarding membership is available at the meeting. All are welcome.

Bella Vista Concert Band

The Community Concert Band holds their practice from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. every Monday through Sept. 19 at the Bella Vista Community Church, 75 E. Lancashire Blvd. The remaining concert series date is Sept. 25.

Bass Club

The Bass Club is seeking new members. This catch-and-release bass-fishing club holds monthly draw tournaments on Bella Vista's two largest lakes from March through November. The club promotes a friendly environment for anglers of all ages. They fish a team format with boaters and non-boaters paired together, weigh in a five-fish bag limit, and receive the same points for the position in which they finish.

The club meets the first Thursday of the month at 7 p.m. at Riordan Hall, 3 Riordan Drive, Bella Vista.

Bella Vista Decorative Artists

The Bella Vista Decorative Artists chapter meets the second Saturday at Wishing Spring Gallery Studio, 8862 West McNelly Road, Bentonville (behind Walgreens). The meetings are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and include a business meeting and painting session. The chapter goal is to stimulate interest and appreciation for the art of painting. All skill levels are welcome.
